Yolanda was suffering from an illness, and if I were in her place (thank God I'm not) I would not worry about putting make-up on my face. She has been suffering for 7 years. She traveled to Asia and Europe to look for effective treatments and remained strong and confident as she continued her work on this reality show. It is very rude of you to criticize the suffering of others. Just because Lyme desiase does not have physical "scars", it does not mean that she, or any other patient, is not suffering. Lyme Desiase is a dysfunction in the brain. She told the world that she forgot the alphabet, she slept for 48 hours in a row, she had no energy at all, she had huge bags under her eyes, among more horrible things than this. Therefore, do not criticize, do not judge, something that you do not know.

I don't know why you are so concerned about the fact that she is not wearing makeup. Look at the other women's faces...are dusgusting.

She didnt wear make up because when you're treating lyme disease your body gets very toxic. When you kill these bacteria they realease a lot of endotoxins (cf herxheimer reaction), just like syphilys (a borrelia too). So most lyme literate doctors dont want you to add any toxins on your body. Second, when you're chronically sick for 6 years, have 40 symptoms, can barely walk or think straight, i think wearing make up is the least of your problem. You might do it for a few days when you have the flue, but not when you have a multi resistant infection like this one which has been going on for ages.

My mum and I have lupus, fibromyalgia and other conditions and the women moaning about make up would soon forget about make up when they realise that just to do the smallest job to keep a home going is beyond draining. I hope that you are doing well.

@bunny jungkook I suddenly got chronic fibromyalgia after an hospital accident at 11 that has left my hip and pelvis damaged for life and the head of a drill piece that they cannot remove without it chattering my pelvis etc but I am due an early hip replacement surgery in the very near future. I hope and pray that your fibromyalgia can come under control at some point in the very near future. Sadly people just don't seem to want to understand and some are different and actually do understand. These conditions need more research ASAP as there are so many people truly suffering.
