@@user-ro5cp1ro4u The Egyptian and Syrian forces were able to carry out what was known as strategic deception and to direct a fatal blow to the Israeli army on the Syrian and Egyptian fronts. The Egyptian forces were able to penetrate the impregnable Bar-Lev line, cross east of the canal and penetrate about 20 km into the occupied Sinai lands. The Syrian forces also managed to penetrate the Golan.

@Abdulgani Ali he was a man who forged peace which has held ever since. One of the few courageous enough to do so against the tide of easy hate. Only a fool would throw peace away for needless war. Youre 'side' need more like him, and obviously your way of thinking is why things are the way they are in so many other places, so many other of your own countries. Your opinion comes with the worst consequences, and is only attractive to the prideful or stupid. I can tell you're young- I hope you grow out of it.

@Abdulgani Ali What are you talking about? No further submission has been asked or given. There's no struggle to have, no reason for one. Why do you want it then? The world would be a much better place if people held themselves to some kind of standard. You can't just make things up and have it be real. And why would you? Still, you have no shame or embarrassment about it. You seem to like it. Why? Look in the mirror. You're a Warmonger. You are the worlds problem. And worse still it seems you're too cowardly to face it. If that's what you really think, please explain *in context* how that makes sense. And by the way, one person to another, I detect something in you. I think you should take a break for a while and get into the sun. If you're thinking of acting out I really suggest you reconsider. Youll regret it. No God wants people to hurt each other. I get a feeling you're at risk or coming close. If I'm right, please get help now. Step away from this sort of thing for a while, one human being to another. You'll really regret it if you don't, I promise you. Good luck.

The Egyptian Air Force opened Operation BADR at 1405 on 6 October 1973 with a massive coordinated air strike with 150 to 250 aircraft. These air strikes were directed at the airfields of Bir Gifgafa, Bir el Thamada, Ras Nasrani, Ophira, El Arish, Akaba, and Ras Sedr. Also, the forward command post at Tasa and the command post at Bir Gifgafa were struck along with 8 to 10 HAWK battery and command positions plus radar sites defending these targets.

Nico Bautista read this please you will know the truth by www.haaretz.com/golda-meir-s-nightmare-1.101819 Golda wrote in her book, "has a slow, very deliberate way of speaking and when I heard him say `G-o-l-d-a, it will be all right. We are back to being ourselves and they are back to being themselves,' I knew that the tide had turned ..." Overriding Dayan's objections, Meir decided to approve the crossing of the Suez Canal. The decision that led to the end of the war was to surround Egypt's Third Army; here again, Meir had to fend off a number of proposals, before backing a plan that was subsequently vindicated. Golda Meir hold responsible for the deaths of 2,600 soldiers. This was an unnecessary war. It was a war that didn't bring any good to the State of Israel."

Therefore we cannot say that we have won Egypt ... and Sharon in one of the letters he said we cannot stop the Egyptians ... and a military expert was Speaking to an American channel, he said that the biggest victor in this war is Egypt. It was a difficult and heavy war on us. Egypt finally regained its land .. And he said when we were talking that if Egypt made us good between the war or the diplomatic path, we wanted war ... and this talk, Sharon also said in his speech ... and therefore the victor is Egypt

This was not a revenge. It was a real catastrophe, Egypt was defeated. The Egyptian Third Army was completely encircled after Tsahal crossed the Suez canal. We were only 101 kms from Cairo and without Kissinger's intervention we would have been even closer. The US insisted that Israel shouldn't strike first like in 1967 and Israel lost 3000 soldiers because of that craziness.

Rabbi David Orbach no israel lost about the 3rd army israel tried to encircle it after the cease fire and this is cowerdnce according to David Elazar chief of Israeli headquarter staff on December 3, 1973: "As for the third army, in spite of our encircling them they resisted and advanced to occupy in fact a wider area of land at the east. Thus, we can not say that we defeated or conquered them." David T. Buckwalter agrees that despite the isolation of the Third Army, it was unclear if the Israelis could have protected their forces on the west bank of the canal from a determined Egyptian assault and still maintain sufficient strength along the rest of the front also egypt got 3 armies 2 were used the 1st was protecting cairo and delta which mean being 101 kilometers from cairo is not achivment ok advance to 0 kilometers in the same situation you will be target practice to the 1st army also you failed to take suez or ismaelia israel accepted the peace treaty for your goverment wasn't very sure that you can hold another war like this despite it was 20 days of war so if war stayed for some monthes israel will fall good night rabbi

Israel was well on the way to Cairo, when the Soviets threatened to attack Israel, and Nixon put our nuclear forces on alert. Israel retreated to the Bar Lev line, and Egypt declared "a major victory". In the North, Assad lost most of his tanks after having the element of surprise. There were many more Israeli casualties in this war than in '67, hard to call it a victory, but it was definitely not a loss as the attacking Arab armies were pushed back and punished. Still Sadat was a smart man, and realized war only brought grief to his people.

According to Chernyaev, on 4 November 1973, Soviet leader Leonid Brezhnev said: "We have offered them (the Arabs) a sensible way for so many years. But no, they wanted to fight. Fine! We gave them technology, the latest, the kind even Vietnam didn't have. They had double superiority in tanks and aircraft, triple in artillery, and in air defense and anti-tank weapons they had absolute supremacy. And what? Once again they were beaten. Once again they scrammed [sic]. Once again they screamed for us to come save them. Sadat woke me up in the middle of the night twice over the phone, "Save me!" He demanded to send Soviet troops, and immediately! No! We are not going to fight for them." In the end, the Arab nations lost...yet again.

Iran stand in as much fear of the Israelis as the Israelis stand in fear of Hizbullah. Had it ever been as you describe here, Iran would have invaded, or destroyed, Israel long ago. Iran knows very well that should it move against Israel in force, American forces would roll over Iran like it did Kuwait and Iraq in the past. When that cage is lifted there will not be an Israel. It is an American plan. Jews think they are the Master, but even US has a master. The end game will not be good for anyone. America can not get out of Afghanistan and now you think they are going to get involved in Iran. Iranians have been preparing for this war for the last 40 years. America will win the conventianal war in Iran within the first six months. But the real war will start after twelve months. If today every American man, woman an Child decides to go hungry for a year, which is not possible. They would still owe 4 trillion dollar. America is a PAPER DIGER. I know it is hard to accept but it is the truth. Iran has millions of soldiers go and check CIA reports. You can not even fathoum the possibility of a falling American empire. Truth is hard and bitter and denying it will not get you anywhere. The whole of America and Israel can not even control Hizbullat, which is nothing compare to their master. How in the hell are you going to defeat their master. Thing goes around comes around. The Americans created Israeli myth, Iranians created Hizbullah myth. I do not support either camps. I am just stating the facts. All this wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Syria and Iran is to encircyle China. China will not give a shit to Iran but is in its best interet to get America in a war with no end. Russia has already started the european front in Ukrine and Norway is already preparing for the coming war in Baltic sea. Did you hear the new Congress just became aware China is helping Saudi build ballistic missles, and Trump hid that information from the Congress becuase that is what the masters told Trump.

Let us put this David and Goliath conflict into perspective, shall we? America has over 2 million troops (with an almost unlimited reserve if needed) vs. Iran's 900k. America has nearly 2,000 5th generation fighters versus Iran's 150 fighters (put that into perspective. The US could LITERALLY wipe out your ENTIRE Air Force in a single day) which are based on the old American designed F-5 from the 1950's. America has nearly 6,000 modern tanks vs. Iran's 1,600 T-90 Russian copies. America has the most powerful navy afloat. Iran barely has a navy to speak of, and is certainly no match for the US Fleet (which includes nuclear submarines and aircraft carriers, neither of which Iran fields.) I won't even get into drone and missile technology, as that is pretty much a moot point. Iran is woefully unprepared, and incredibly inferior in terms of technology and training, to take on the juggernaut the Americans can field at a moment's notice. Iran can square off with Syria, Libya, Jordan and Egypt all it wants to. That's an even match. But taking on the US, Russia or China? Try again. Iran is DECADES away from developing anything that could match the technological advantage of these superpowers, and by the time they do, they will have already been surpassed (yet again) in both technological might, and material. So, no matter what you say, or how you say it, Iran will always simply be a tiny little country who likes to boast about their invisible "might." Welcome to reality.

okay, guys, I am an Egyptian and I want to clear something. First let's talk about victory in 3 ways Tactical, political and strategic ( or territorial) For the Egyptian front we won politically and established peace and we gained our land back and for the Syrian front they lost in all 3 aspects. Let me go deeper in the tactical part and tell you why the world thinks Israel won on the Egyptian front and Syrian front. I do admit Syria lost on all sides but for us, we won. No doubt we lost many men and way more than the other side but this was nothing we didn't know and when you have soldiers that actually want to die for their country and our religious beliefs (let's not start a religious argument), you should expect high casualties. Our army was humiliated in 1967 in the six days war which is 100% an Israeli victory and it was illprepared, not well equipped and not well trained. after having a defensive line on the canal we built ourselves in 6 years only getting equipment and training what we had and even though we did this, overall it was still inferior so manpower was all we had. Our mig 21s lacked in armament and definitely worse tactics and training ( you can check you how israeli phantoms outsmarted us and it was great) and only our "umbrella" to cover us. Our tanks lacked gun range and tactics too where their tanks fired from longer distances and flanked us. So in the tnak battle of sinai when we lose 500 tanks and they lose 100 we consider it a victory because we know we had to lose this number to win and thats what we had to offer. This war mightve been portrayed as a loss for egypt due to the tactical losses but in reality and what we think is that it was a victory and the numbers lost were needed to gain land. The achievment of crossing the canal itself is not simple as the "undestrctible barrier" was pierced with water cannons and they said it would need 48 hours to cross a tank and in 24 hours we crossed 500 tanks. Why isnt anyone looking at this? At this time with the immense 12km advancment isreal thought they were doomed and check what dyan said. let me talk about another final thing and it was foreign aid. Israel had superior phantoms that were replaced by the US after each loss while we had a limited stock of inferior MIG 21s. They had air bridges from the US droppping tanks and armor with fuel and we didnt. It was egypt vs the USA after all. And having us ask for peace is like the battle of the bulge where hitler wanted to show he can fight and then offer peace with the west which was wise from us. So what do you guys think about what i said let me know please because it dissapoints me how my grandfathers died and we gained our land back yet few acknowledge it. Thanks

@@orphanleek3987 ok the United states saved you by achieving peace which you sorely needed, Israel was readying for another offensive against Egyptand once the pathetic Syrians were crushed that would've freed up more troops and supplies for the offensive against Egypt, this offensive is something you could never have stopped even with all the extra troops and money you recieved from the host of other pathetic Islamic nations and also you were still receiving support from USSR so stop trying to say you weren't, and I'm not trying to say that Israel wasnt receiving support from the US but that because we didn't want you fucktards to get nuked by Israel which they were preparing to do, for some reason yall just dont understand that the US saved yall twice by stopping Israel from nuking you and ending the war with the camp David accords, Israel gave that land back because we convinced them to and also because we basically played them too, hell we're still paying them for it today with the butt load of "defense aid" and shit we pay them every year, you idiots started both wars and lost both wars in every way possible so for fucks sake fix yourself

@@danielbest5534 Let me discuss another point Yes, we received military aid from the USSR but at 1972/73 we kicked the Soviets and it was a situation where " guys we are going to war and no one will help us even more and we have to do it with the old shit we have". The Soviets had T64s which would decimate all Israeli ground units while we had old T55s and T62s and they had air bridges with fully loaded tanks. The Soviets had the mig 25 and mig 23 while we had the mig 21 and they had up to date phantoms. They had a lot of time to train and we didn't. They can get the 100 tanks in days that they lost in a tank battle while it would take us a lot to regain the 500 tanks we lost. You are right we wouldn't have been able to keep going for long because we aren't a superpower and we aren't an industrial superpower and we don't have the best economy. But these events never happened and we did achieve what we needed in one way or another and we did show the world we can fight and we can achieve what everyone thought we wouldn't by crossing the canal itself. It was us against America at the end so no way we would've fought alone and the USSR had to intervene for the balance of power. However, if they carried other offensives we could've be able to hold on for some time but for how long? No one would ever know. What do you think?

@@orphanleek3987 first of all what is it you are saying never happened, next you had SAM sites set up everywhere so Israel never had complete air superiority so that negates you weak point of better aircraft, next the T-62 is arguably better equipped for ranged shooting the 115 gun on it has better range than the best tank the Israelis which was the M60 and the Israelis had them in very limited numbers while you had hundreds of T-62 and you cant say that the M60 armor was too strong because it's been proven that the T-62 can punch through the thickest armor on the M60 and you also had the T-62 before the Israelis had the M60 so more time to train for you, and back the the Phantoms we sent those over to the Israelis in such limited numbers because we didn't expect this shit to happen so we ended up pulling some from our units and some older models while we told Israel standby, and if you are saying that Israel never got close to nuke slapping yall around the desert then you really need to stop smoking whatever it is you're smoking, it's all over Google it was released in2013 declassified docs by Israel that they almost did but US Intel got wind of this and decided to step in to try and level the field and at the end had not camp David happened then Israel would've drove you all the to Cairo, and at camp David we both know that the US was closer to Israel so side talks took place and here we are selling them weapons at half the value they are worth and giving them money every year so that peace could be achieved

I guess its a good strategy to keep your class privileges by blaming "Zionists" and maintaining the flame of hate by demonizing Jews and Judaism than give up something and take out millions of Egyptians from poverty

Abanoub Fahmy If Egypt had won the war there would be no Israel. Israel is always double - triple teamed yet they are still here. You must at some point cut thru your hatred of the Jews and ask yourself how and why. The answer you come up with may not make you hate them any less but it will stop the delusion of their defeat. Israel GAVE the Sinai back ..they could have captured Damascus but chose not to do so. Israel wants peace. Why is that so hard to believe.

Sam agami It's called "AID". Egypt needs financial assistance. most of this money (that can be tracked) goes to Egypt's military. The US wants Egypt to be stabilized so that terrorist groups won't overtake the country. It is not in the U.S. best interest. Egypt has never won a war against Israel - even with help from Russia, Jordan, Syria, Sudan. Never.

***** no one actually lost because there was a "Peace Treaty" between Egypt and israel

ahmed mahir The truth is the U.N. stepped in and secured a cease-fire agreement October 25,1973 in order for Egypt and Syria to save face as they were being decimated by the Israeli army. The Peace Treaty was not signed until 1974 and all the conquered land was not returned until 1979. What military VICTOR would wait 6 years to reclaim it's spoils of war? The Israelis traded the Sinai (which they still controlled) for peace. There was a clear winner and loser and we all know who is who.

Additional note: Not only U.S helped. Another additional note: Our experience was above the Russian fighters who helped the Arabs in these wars. Another note: We bought from you stuff, upgraded them, and sold them back to you. It is an aid, but a different kind of aid. Before-last note: U.S.A would not aid Israel if Israel would waste it like many Arabian countries do. Last note: U.S.A and Israel are allies. Friendship is magic!

May be 1 Israeli soldier = 8 Egyptian soldiers May be 1 Israeli soldier = 5 Syrian soldiers But 1 Palestinian guerrilla = 15 Israeli soldiers .. If you don't believe this, ask Gazza, how the Israeli soldiers screamed like children and pissed in their pants.

I asked. 10 balasdinian = 250 balasdinian women + 500 balasdinian babies to the border = zero Israeli soldiers. You are all cowards, hiding behind women and children or under hospital beds. You have no testicles to fight . Those are for your 72 virgins....

@ahmedelmoon go to the English Wikipedia article of "the Yom Kippur War" and look at the chart. It says there in the casualties that 2500-2800 Israelis died while 8000-15000 Egyptians died.
