Hellooo, welcome to my vlog. I just recently moved to Seoul to study at Yonsei University and wanted to document my process of moving abroad, exploring new areas and meeting new people, so I made a dorm move-in vlog! Before move-in we visited Myeongdong shopping street and after move in explored Songdo and Incheon.

Welcomeeee! I'm a university student currently enrolled at Yonsei University in South Korea. I use this channel mostly because I like to record memories and store them so I can look back at them. I grew up travelling with my parents so I've grown up in a pretty multicultural environment which inspired me to move abroad. I love learning languages and experiencing different cultures and most of all getting to meet new people from all around the world!! I hope I'll be able to create lots of memories using this channel :)

helloo! All Yonsei freshmen must stay one year at the dorms in Songdo international campus in Incheon and depending on your major your classes may be conducted at the main campus in Sinchon starting Sophmore year (which is my case). Upon moving to Sinchon you have the chance to apply for the dorms there (muak, SK global, international house) that may be more familiar to you :) those dorms are more known as most exhange students stay there! Hi, it's good to see your video because I'm going to Songdo Campus this semester too! Can I ask that do they provide us with blanket and pillow or we have to bring those things from our home country? Looking forward to receiving a reply from you 😁

Helloo~ the dorms unfortunately don't offer any bedding. I brought my own pillow with me, but me and my friends bought our comforters and blankets from the upper floor stores of Homeplus, which is a retail store. There's one near the campus!

@@khanhvivu9220 yeah the homeplus near campus is a part of a bigger complexx that has multiple floors and one of the floors has like a bedding store. No problem~

Oo cool, and I have a question do u study only with foreigners or also with koreans?

UIC is an international school so we have all nationalities, including koreans. However we do not share classes with main Yonsei majors (majors taught entirely in korean), where most koreans study.

Hey! I have a question, please answer me, at yonsei university, are students allowed to choose whether they prefer a shared room between three or two students for example? and are students the ones to choose who they want to share their dorms with?

You aren't allowed to choose either. It will be conpletely randomized

I started during Fall semester (September) like most foreigners, most Koreans start uni during Spring semester (March)

Can yoy choose to live alone and not share with anyone ?? And do all foreigners start September

I believe there are some single rooms but they are more expensive and I think you have to have a reason to stay alone (eg. a medical problem). You can choose to start in either March or September, but most foreigners do start during Fall.
