I feel so sad for him, especially in light of the recent news. You can tell that he was a very anxious person. I don't justify his actions but I can understand how the feeling of emptiness, anxiety and depression can lead someone to make choices that are not beneficial in the long run. In any case, I think he is a brilliant actor (I'd dare say the best of his generation) and I hope he can bounce back from this.

I do really just want to hug him. I think he actually a sweet and cute person. It just anxiety, depression, and mental health that makes him choose a bad thing such drugs... That actually negative for his own body not anyone else body...

First saw him in Chicago Typewriter and thought "Wow! This man is really good looking." Then, I checked him out on Wikipedia and Insta and realized he is so much more than his looks. I was completely in awe of the way he thinks. It's so rare to find an actor/artist who is as eloquent and profound as he is and even rare for a Korean celebrity to speak up on social issues. Here, he is letting us introspect into our own lives. How much is enough? Do you really need materialistic things to be happy or to have a peace of mind? Simply, respect him as a human and as an artist.

He was seen few times in gay club thus people said he's gay. But when u see his life he just has a unique way of thinking. Perhaps he just don't care or don't want to be prejudice of sexuality?

I'm not deciding his sexuality but if he is gay, I feel bad for him. I'm gay too. and korea as you know, they ain't open about lgbt stuff yet. and I am always scared that I will getting old alone since same sex marriage is illegal. even if I don't want to get married it is hard to find your boyfriend here in korea since everyone are still in their closet. I'm not saying he's gay tho its just I can relate to him if he's gay. I hope he find his happiness regardless who he is.

goo soo The photos were all over in his male friend’s Instagram account. Yoo Ah In went to China for a pictorial and right after went out with friends. Chinese media caught him and his female stylist with some male friends in a top gay bar. But the fact that his friend tagged him in IG in some photos would tell you that maybe they were just there to have fun? Like they’re not hiding anything. It just sprouted his gay rumors but it did not really blow up in Korea despite it being released around his military enlistment controversy.

i'm glad that he's reached a point in life where he's questioning his existence and what he wanna achieve in this world. he still seems to be confused, but i wish him all the happiness in the world. he seems to constantly be in deep thoughts, with the way he's always forgetting what he was planning to in reality. hope he finds it in himself to be much calmer and i hope the void in him gets filled soon. yoo ah in, hwaiting!

I am confident in saying that Yoo Ah In is that Korean actor whose filmography has no holes. Each project of his is brilliant, not only for his superb acting but for the production in general. His ability to choose a project that is not only beautifully written but is also compelling and has great societal impact makes his portfolio far greater than any of his co-A listers today. So, just a tip, if you want to watch something magnificent, choose any Yoo Ah In film or drama and you’re surely in for a treat.

No wonder his performance in "Hellbound" is capturing worldwide attention." He's not confined to the paper doll, cookie cutter, sicky sweet persona put forth by the K-drama entertainement "factories". His performance was riveting. Another K-drama series moving outside the boundaries and into our heats. Excited to watch his characters rebirth in season two and his future projects. Stay true to yourself.

I thought Sung Hoon is special. But now I´ve a new favorite. *YAI* is great. He really is. But I´m also a little sad. I think he´s lonely. He´s such a sweetheart, a handsome man and a great actor. But something´s missing in his live: Love. He needs someone who cares about him. No more lonely nights in deep thoughts. No more eating alone or living alone in his huge house. Thank god he has 2 cats. So he´s dad to these 2 cuties. It´ll help a lot to overcome bad thoughts. ♥

i think he feels like he’s just existing and lifeless because he’s gotten the wealth and he’s gotten his dream home and has no financial worries, he’s doing well career wise too but he doesn’t have anything else he wants in life and doesn’t have any urge or impulse after you get all you ever wanted you start to grow lifeless cuz now you have nothing to do and being rich you never know who wants to use you for your money

i think his recent arrest is for the best for him. It will probably save his life. He should have made enough money to live comfortably. After this, i hope he can carry on with his life and do something that really bring fulfilment to him. All the best for him.

It wasn't an arrest yet. He's still under investigation and hasn't been formally charged. So these are all just allegations for now until proven by the court.

Wow having finally seen the full episode one can see the other guests were genuinely worried for him. Dont blame them really. The other guy at the end seemed shocked to see the video and the other side of ah-in here. They kept going on about how he has loads of friends or how he should call them or his parents. This episode was open therapy session for yoo ah in.

I have a list of fine and talented actors from around the world and Yoo Ah-in is one of them. Tony Leung, Toshiro Mifune, young Marlon Brando, Gary Oldman, Laurence Olivier, Meryl Streep, James Earl Jones, Ian McKellan. I’ve seen the last 2 live on stage and they just ate up that stage. I know that film and live theatre are different, but Mr. Yoo is able to give you the feeling that you’re there with him. What he is able to do with his eyes, his facial expressions brings you on that stage. I forget I’m watching a movie.

Love him, he's A level actor, although he didn't play many kdrama, but he's excellent at movie, got lot awards, appreciation... Yoo ahin is an amzing actor. That is all it matters. I dont care about any unproven romors about his private life. No one has the right to judge someone for his privacy unless one harms others in his or her private life. He proves over and over again in TV series or movies how great an actor he is. I’ve been usually alone at home with my pets. Fortunately I’m still enjoying the solitude that being alone brings. I always say that being alone does not necessarily mean one is lonely. I hope Yoo Ah In feels the same way too. But if he does not, then I hope he’ll find somebody to share the loneliness with, if not erase it.
