Actually Yor is pretty Naive in anything other then her Job as an Assassin. She don't suspect Loid at all. As a Manga reader can't wait to see Yor's relationship with Anya. It's so wholesome!

The being married thing is the time period issue and war tensions. A very good way for dictators to keep control of a country is to make their citizens distrustful of each other with a reporting system. How can you organize or even speak negatively when just one person could turn everyone in?

I haven't read the manga, but keeping in mind that they live in a world that is in some kind of Cold War era and in a society that values the idea of the classic family a lot, is easier to understand some of the situations they live. Anya is trying to enter a school for priviliged children of the elite that probably cares excessively for its public image, so they want to have children from "perfect" families and a kid with only one parent would not be up to that standard, even if one of the parents passed away (I mean, in some places, 70 years ago, they could deny you access to a school just for the color of your skin, so...). Now, to their society, a woman in her late twenties should be married already or at least be dating someone, for them it'd be weird for a woman to still be single at that age, and with all the Cold War paranoia, some'd think she's single because in reality she's a spy; I bet during the Cold War a lot of people got accussed of being a communist or an american spy for less than that.

Yor is def super gullible and awkward which is the perfect partner for Twilight lol But it makes sense for her cause she was raised as an Assassin so social norms and queues are going to be foreign to her. I just wonder how she became an asassin, but her brother did not. So far their whole dynamic seems like the series is basically going to be Mr. and Mrs. Smith + Anya

A lot of reactors doesn't realize that spy is different than assassin. Twilight is a spy, so he will act, disguised, and also lies, but Yor is the local there, and her only missions is to kill. Yor's brother says she's gullible, that's why she doesn't focus much about Twilight's lie because she only thinks about wanted him as her partner. She might get a mission to kill Twilight though...🤭🤭🤭

Everything about Spy X Family is sooooo good. The family itself is amazing. The side characters such as Franky and others that will be introduced later on are all unique and memorable. The comedy and wholesome moments are meshed together insanely well. It's going to be an amazing watch for sure.

Because of the fact that Loid is literally a spy from the opposing country, which would technically make Loid and Yor enemies, I feel like it's still too early for them to safely discover each others' secrets. Even though there's 9 episodes at this point, I feel like it's too early. But I also can't wait for the day when they finally do find out each other's secrets. ^^

The most explosive (pun intended) proposal ever. Even the grenade ring fits the whole scene. I'm waiting for a certain new character to appear (those who know, don't spoil it). That character is low-key one of my favourites besides Anya. Both of them together is just wholesome.

"Is she bright or dumb." Yes, and that's part of why she's a great character. Yor Forger can be smart sometimes, very wise/insightful other times, and also rather dense. And on the flipside, Loid is incredibly intelligent but he can also be extraordinarily dense.
