Just one question Paul, would love to take my BT50 and 22ft Franklin Club onto the beach one day, what pressure would I be looking at to run both vehicles on sand. The van tares around the 2300kg Mark.

Hi Ron, I'm no expert but on this occasion I think we ran about 20 psi.. on van & car Wuaraltee Beach was pretty firm & not really a challange. At least on this trip. I do know each beach is different from previous experience. We have been as low as 8 psi & still got stuck but we weren't towing on that occasion. I would only take the van on beaches where vans are normally taken on. One good thing is usually these beaches have a lot of people on them. So there's always someone who is willing to help if you get into trouble. Not that I think you should rely on that. We like to be self sufficient.. But we do help others if they need it. PS; Be aware of the tides, don't want to wake up & step out into the sea....... Hope this helps Cheers Paul.

Excellent video again Paul and Michelle, really looking forward to the corner country video, as I've only been to Broken Hill, but it is on the list.

Hi Paul & Michelle Enjoyed the Yorke Pen episodes. Looking forward to Corner Country escapades. Decided not to head to SW WA in Feb. Will probably head south along NSW & VIC coast, take the ferry from Sorrento to Queenscliff and then tackle the GOR. Then in mid year we are planning to head to Broome & Dampier Pen via Katherine, then work our way south via Karijini, Exmouth, Coral Bay, Denham, Fremantle, Margaret River, Bremer Bay, Albany & Esperance, before heading home across the Nullarbor. That should put another 20k’s on the Disco!. 😃 Have a great Christmas and many happy travels in 2024. Stay safe. Cheers Peter & Annette.

Hi Guys, Wow what an epic trip you have planned, sounds amazing. We won't be heading west again until 2025. Michelle has a trip to Malta next year with our Daughter so we'll just be doing a few shorter trips in 2024 Enjoy your trip & get heaps of pics. Thanks for your support over the past year. All the best for Christmas & New Year & stay safe on the roads. Cheers Paul & Michelle

Yeah. Big trip. Not sure if we will get it all done. If running out of time, we can always hang a right at Kalbarrie and head to Norseman via Mt Magnet and the goldfields, which could make for a nice change from the windy coast. If the navigator is asleep, I could even head to Laverton and take the Great Central Road. So, lots of options. Glad to see PMK3-1 is going global. Looking forward to watching the videos, even if old fella is stuck at home minding the dog. 😂 Cheers Peter @@pmk3australia
