I’m gonna leave this comment here for the people who think they know everything, this video is 11 minutes long, but the whole process of birth and having the people I had come over to look at the puppies was about 2 hours long, there is a lot of footage cut out, people keep saying I should of just left the mom and puppies alone and everything would of been fine, and that was exactly my plan, but after the first puppy was born I saw the mom licking it and also biting at the exposed intestines, trying to take the intestines off the puppy, I’m guessing she thought it needed to come off like the sack needed to, so after seeing her pull on the exposed intestines and the puppy crying, that is when I stepped in and stopped the mom from doing anything, I called the local vet and talked to the breeder I got the mom from and they both advised that I step in and do it myself because it is safer, yes I understand dogs are born with the instinct to do it on there own, but they aren’t born with the instinct to handle any complications in the birth of the puppies, I cut all this out of the video because it was hard to watch in person and while editing I instantly deleted that part of the video because I didn’t want to have to relive and watch it all over again, it was way to hard!! Trust me, you don’t want to see a puppies organs getting pulled out!! So again, that is when I stepped in and did it myself, and I do not regret what I did, and anything you say won’t change that. But Thank you to everyone supporting me and the decisions I made, and all the nice words about hope, you guys are truly awesome!! Jack and Jill are doing great! They had no problems at all, I have updated videos with them so if you want to see them grow, you can find that video link in the end of this video, but thank you all again for the support and love!!

The fact that you stayed with her all night feeding her every 2 hours let’s me know you did everything you could. You sent her to Heaven with respect dignity and love. Great video. RIP Hope

Adam you're a good man with a BIG HEART. Im a 50 year old male and consider myself tough as nails. I lost my beloved Yorkie after 18 years its been nearly 6 months I still loose it every other day. So nice to see people who are kind to animals. When my Bear died "Yorkie" part of me died he was the absolute joy of my life. I salute you sir.

I had a ShihTzu that lost a puppy once many years ago. It was her first litter. My heart bled for her because she carried it around and protected it. When I finally got it away from her she searched EVERYWHERE for it. I later found out that she could only really have 1 pup at a time. Aww poor baby. Prayers for little Hope. I’m hysterical right now. Great job you did there. You did all you could. I’m sure she’s up in doggie heaven barking down on you.❤️

This made me cry. A week ago, our Boston Terrier gave birth to 3 adorable puppies. 1 of them, the runt, was too weak. We did everything that we knew we could to care for her pup, almost the same as you did for yours. He (the pup) had 3 seizures on his 2nd day and we kept trying to revive him but ultimately he succumb to death. My husband and I wept for our pup. It was so hard. Now we care for the other 2 and thank God they are alive and well and now a week old. 💖

Hey yorkie daddy..thank you for sharing your experience and your sweet babies with us. You never know when an emergency or having to perform urgent care for an animal will come your way, but you did an amazing and loving job. And when you lose the one you tried to care for, don’t fret and have peace because you did the best that you could. And you just may have been able to help save another life by sharing your experience. Now you know a little more of how to care for momma and babies if the need arises in the future and hopefully things won’t be so scary. Miley reminds me so much of my little Daisy who passed away 2 yrs ago exactly but I know I’ll see her again and she gave me 14 yrs of wonderful joy. Seeing this really makes me want to get another tiny yorkie sweetheart. Sending y’all much love and blessings!

I know this is an older video but I just saw it now. The guy seems like an amazing person and obviously loves animals. He is gentle and loving! I know he did everything he could to save little Hope. It made me cry that the pup didn’t make it. But sometimes these things happen! Even happens with humans too. I’m sad Hope didn’t make it but there are two other pups that did! And that’s wonderful!

What a wonderful peek into your Yorkie’s life. Thank you for sharing. My teacup Yorker Sophie is 14 1/2 ! I am thankful for everyday I get to have with her. I don’t think she will be with us much longer as I see her becoming more frail, but I will love her as long as I am allowed, then see her again in heaven. My heaven is filled with animals.

Oh gosh, I watched and cried with you when you first posted this video and I just bawled my eyes out again. The first time I watched while holding my Yorkie, Peenut(she was a little but who peed) , this time I cried by myself. Peenut passed away last year. It’s amazing how much our fur babies mean to us. Hey Adam, I just want to say WOW!! Your dogs are very lucky to have a Daddy like you. I am so, so sorry that Hope didn’t make It, but you can sleep soundly that you did everything possible for her. These experiences although not the outcome one can expect, become a type of tool or means that will help us build our skill set for any future deliveries the mommy may have. You did GREAT!

Oh my gosh I burst into tears. My heart is breaking for baby Hope. I lost a puppy when my yorkie gave birth back in September. I carried him around for hours, praying, crying, and doing cpr just hoping he would wake up. I named him "My Heart" cuz he took a big piece of mine to heaven with him. I buried him under a crape myrtle tree I planted in the back yard.
