A complete drive through the Yosemite Valley in Yosemite National Park in 4K. We begin on Big Oak Flat Rd. and head down into the valley on El Portal Rd. along the Merced River to Southside Dr., then circle back around to Northside Dr. and Wawona Rd. and end at Tunnel View Overlook.
Along the way we see gorgeous views of the Yosemite Valley, El Capitan, Bridalveil Falls, and Half Dome.

Flew my mom out to California for her 70th birthday, got to see some amazing places while we were there. Notable stops include Lake Tahoe, Muir woods, Alcatraz Island, Stinson Beach for a sunset, dinner on Pier 39 overlooking San Francisco Bay, California state railroad museum and Yosemite National Park. Yosemite is such a beautiful place in winter, not a whole lot of people there which made it feel like we had the park to ourselves.

Around the 10 minute mark....I felt like I was in a Kubrick movie, driving to the overlook. (i actually went back and watched the Shining intro all over again) . If you actually play the miusic from the opening of The Shining over this video....it gets spooky.

Hello, I am planning to take this route on may 2023, is it advisable? And are the roads open?
@AdventureEveryDay
@AdventureEveryDay Жыл бұрын
We would definitely recommend checking the National Parks website to make sure all roads you're planning to travel are open when you're making your trip. Conditions change fast, one day the road can be open, then the next it can be closed.

That bruin was a nice way to end this, sorta "cute" to look at, though you wouldn't exactly want to socialize with the rascal(Laughs!!). He is NOT that lovable dog of yours, that you may play tug-of-war with. The late Queen and her Consort, the late Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip, along with the late President Reagan and the late Mrs. Reagan, worshiped together in Yosemite Chapel.

Too afraid to visit Yosemite. Lots of people go missing in Yosemite. See Missing 411. Also Corey Goode said he won't take his family to certain National Parks.

In the close-in Yosemite area, there was a man who deliberately made himself go missing, weeks, months on end, and that was the legendary conservationist, John Muir. I've been there and back, many, many times, and each and every time that I go and come out of there, I know that I'm elevated ever closer to God, and I'm sure that He's pleased, too. Don't go dwelling on Cary Stayner.

You're missing out, go with a group of people and don't go anywhere by yourself. Follow the designated trails and you'll be just fine.....Yosemite is definitely worth it.

If you go with a group of people.. try to stay with the group at all times ? If you stray for a call of nature, always do it with your back to a tree, or rock etc, don’t leave your back unguarded ! But don’t worry too much, it’s only 1 in 100 that goes missing, so it’s not going to be you OK !

A lot of people go missing at Yosemite ? In fact Yosemite has the highest number of missing persons.. but this is only a reflection of the fact that Yosemite has one of the highest number of visitors of any of the parks.. I’ve got to say it.. the place is simply stunning

Those people go off trails in the name of adventure, disconnecting..don’t do that. Definitely go. Baby steps. The main points. Then venture to some trails.
