I just installed my AT2 on my MT09 and it sounds beautiful but my neighbor complain ... Lol I'm waiting for the insert I just bought yesterday and see......If they still complaining so be it . I loved the way it changes the color from stainless to some kind of gold bronceish !!!!!!

On the RS4 for my CRF300L Rally, the placement of the retaining screw made it impossible to break the seal with an allen key. I stuck a grill lighter on the inside of the silencer to heat it up a bit and hopefully break the thread locker, and the screw then came out easily once it was heated. That said, the bend in the insert combined with bolt hole location made for some finicky fiddling and frustration getting the spark arrestor in. Now that it’s done though, it sounds amazing and I don’t have to worry about burning down the West.

It’s funny ppl think they need to take out the insert for more power. As already stated if it has one in, leave it in, it was designed that way. Only reason you would need to take the end out is to install a spark arrestor. I love the yoshi and the look. Some say it looks like a boat. Meh. I prefer this vs the overrated fmf tampon missile can which sounds no better than stock.

what about the yoshimura r11 where there is no rubber on the outside like it is on the r77?

I put an Allen wrench in that hole where the screw came out, gripped the wrench with some vice grips, then took a rubber mallet to vice grips, hammering away from the exhaust (kinda like the slide hammer). Popped out like a charm, and saves you from buying a $50 slide kit or removing it completely to use a broom handle.

Hey guys, bought a Yoshimura RS-12 for my Yamaha T7. Came with the baffle insert in the exhaust pipe. However, the bolt can't be loosen due to the end of the bolt being a rivet. How do i go about removing the baffle? Tried using a flat head screwdriver to break the bolt stem but it wouldn't work @YoshimuraUSA

I have just purchased a full rs9 system for my 450r. Do these come fitted with arrestors already in? Also do they make a significant reduction on noise levels? As some tracks are now limiting bike volume and not allowing you on track if too loud

I just bought a bike and the insert came with but is under the seat in the storage area. I wanted to put it in to see what the sound difference would be but there is a bit of metal covering the screw hole, like it wasn’t fully punched out. Do I pry that out somehow and break it off? The insert doesn’t slip in because of that piece of metal

Dear Yoshimura, SA-14-K is the spark arrestor I bought for a 2015 Honda Grom with RS-9 exhaust. When I opened the package, the instructions said not for carbon sleeves. That’s what I have. Is there a different spark arrestor I should get ? Thank you !

My baffle measures 45mm but I can't find any inserts measuring for that. Unless the measurement is for something else? It's an RS4 can any help would be appreciated
