We have not tried it, but most players I know feel it is quite short, but very slacky. It also has not been made for a while, so it has probably been sitting around a while which may affect performance.

The XT cannot do this trick because it is a responsive yoyo and you need an unresponsive yoyo to do this trick.

I would recommend waiting until you can get some thin lube. I doubt you have ruined the bearing yet.

I would recommend starting with the Sage Yoyo Pro Pack. yoyotricks.com/yoyo-store/yoyo-brands/yotricks/the-sage-yoyo-pro-pack/ This pack is nice because the yoyo comes playing responsive, so it is easy to learn the basics, and then you can upgrade the bearing in the yoyo with the CenterTrac bearing included in the pack so you can learn more advanced unresponsive tricks.

I don't think you can call it 11A though. Because within 4A there is a whole set of tricks done with two yoyos called soloham and its all under 4A. 5A has the potential to do that too under the official rules for competitions, but nobody has really made such tricks mainstream (yet, I'm still low-key waiting for the day multi-yoyo 5A becomes a thing). Usually when people make a new style, they just add one to the highest numbered existing style, which at the moment is 6A, so you could call it 7A.

For pro videos like this all I can say is pay attention during the slow motion and see if you can figure out what he is doing differently than you.
