Helsinki based Yotto (aka Otto Yliperttula) burst onto the scene earlier this year with a remarkable debut release on Anjunadeep, which picked up DJ support from Gorgon City, Lane 8 and Kidnap Kid, and along with his recent remix of Above & Beyond gave us a taste of his vibrant dancefloor sound.
He returns with the ‘Wondering EP’, three deep and diverse electronic anthems. Title track ‘Wondering’ is packed with uplifting pads and guitar licks, which flow into a gorgeous vocal breakdown provided by CAPS, before the epic low end melody takes over.
The swirling melodies of ‘Slowly’ soar alongside evocative vocals and a lush sun-soaked bassline. A memorable moment from our Anjunadeep Miami party earlier this year!
Rounding things off is ‘Coming Back To You’, which takes us into daytime disco territory. Warm pads and funk infused guitar blend fluidly over a killer groove, topped off with heady samples and an adventurous keyboard solo.

im with you .lovely words. this track made impacts when i was made redundant and got a job 3 days later. so 20 years redundancy give me some power but the track kept me level. i love tracks that speak to the soul .i still bang it out at 56 years old . made by guides or angels its just wierd...i dunno. you know it wont last forever....that hurts.

Roadtripped last summer from chicago to california last summer with my two cousins, stopping at national parks and exploring for two weeks. absolutely free from everything. My first night of driving, it was around 3 a.m, my two cousins fell asleep, this song came on the chill radio on serius XM, still gives me chills! this was the ultimate song for that moment, it was really something incredible. I still feel the high i felt when I was cruising down an endless dark road.

I remember coming out of McDonald's Drive Thru when this played on my Spotify 'Discover Weekly' Playlist. I was in the car with my very good friend from Sydney. I remember the weather, the date and also what we ordered from McDonald's. It's honestly songs like these which create the interlocks of puzzle pieces in our memories! ❤️

Love, love this song. I am writing my last words of my dissertation for my masters and I am finding this tune as big inspiration to lift my spirit and starting to celebrate. Love deep house music, I find it so moving to me. I hope to have the chance to listen to Yotto live once in my life.

I just spoke to Yotto yesterday at Audio SF. He's super nice and we talked about Finland and Hakkinen. (F1 fans anyone?) Also, the vocals are his own younger brother's who he said is musically more talented than he is. :D

Song of the moment for me, topped my Spotify 2019 wrapped, most listened track. Still here, still wondering. 💚 Love this track so much. Especially part @ 3:15 with the faint voices echoing in the background. Though now, I start see the lyrics differently. Rather than me wondering about someone else watching me slip away...
