I'd hold my puppy and sing this to her. She'd have seizures and it calmed her after. This broke my heart and also made me remember our good times. She was my best friend. ❤️

Shauni FilledWithHope my gran used to sing this to me all the time, she was my best friend before she passed. now i work in a care home and there’s a lady who’s recently become bed bound on end of life care, and doesn’t speak all that often. we’re close as anything, and we now sing this song together (yes, she sings it too) as i curl her hair in rollers (like she always used to do herself)
