This was the last song my grandma sang before she died in January. I used to play an easier version of this song but since she died I haven’t touched my kalimba. I will get it back out to play this for my mom.

Everytime I hear this song I always remember my niece funeral because my sister played this song 24hrs nonstop in her funeral. I'm literally about to cry now because I remember how my sister cry nonstop because she lost her first child😔❤️

I played You Are My Sunshine to my sweet 15 year old Pekingese as she was crossing the Rainbow Bridge. My husband just gifted me a Kalimba yesterday, and this came up in my feed today. I'm sitting here crying as I type this. I'm determined to learn this, just for my Noelle ❤🐾
