We remain on the public land at all times whilst we have a quick look round.
As we are observing security cutting the seal on the shipping container we are spoken to and informed that filming from the public footpath into the direction of the company is not allowed.
We ask security to double check whether that is correct and then a manager called Matt arrives who was much better.

Big up the first security guard, he was trying his best with the information he was given. He was professional, he was calm, and interacted with you as he could. Far better than most security guards you see. And when asked about the laws he didnt bullshit, he just said he didnt know. Matt was the sort of person you want to go interact with members of the public. Happy to give you information and his time, and big up his company he was very clued up. Company should be proud of him.

HI,, DJ,, Me and aunty get our sticks of rhubarb from here, my cousin, who works here,, gets the sticks at the canteen,, from a automatic coin food dispenser,, 10p a pop,, they also have a banana machine, an apple machine, and 60 other food choices,, the trouble with the machines is no body eats fruit any more, my cousin says I'm the only one who gets anything at all.. Another great video DJ, Matt was also great, very professional. I heard him say the company opened there in May 2020, which instantly made me think of what terrible state the country was in at that time, just after the " Cov " thing started and lockdowns began and businesses were closed. I have to say that takes some faith in economy to start a company at such an uncertain time as May 2020 was. Did this company and the Tesco giant know something the small guys didn't ? I wonder how many other companies or businesses started up at that time, not many I'd guess !

yh yh we all love it when the staff flip out and lose their shit, too much of a good thing can get stale. Its absolutely refreshing to see people not over react, actually engage their brain and communicate with respect, getting respect back. Well done Matt. I think it is bad training, they are told they have to control the site. Being a bit paranoid helps in that job. To be fair he was polite.

Sadly a lot of them bring the mindset from their home country.... so perhaps where he's from a Security Guard has more power and laws may be different. Training is poor so they just assume the same applies here.

The young gentleman Matt, was most courteous and very informative. The security man was pleasant enough but he was just misinformed. ....... Guess what, DJ! .... I was born and brought up in Peterborough, but i left years ago! This is all new development! Peterborough was a very small city when i was growing up, but over the years it has been redeveloped, in such a way that the old P.Boro is virtually gone! Just before i left, they were in the process of building The Queensgate shopping centre, and all along city road. The Brettons which was a London overspill and the Ortons had not long been built. My son still lives there though. Thank you for this lovely blast from the past DJ! xxxx
