I smile, you smile! "Don't worry, be happy. Phooweet phoee phooweet" (That's me whistling. 😏) Hey, Barry, do you remember who taught you how to whistle? I do. I was 7, Mom and Dad and best friends left their children home alone in the crazy capable hands of my older sister (13) and our friends oldest of siblings, (12). A peeping Tom had recently been caught in our neighborhood and low and behold, the girls heard a sound outside. They passed us all butterknives, made us crouch behind the furniture, and they turned the lights out. (Don't know what we were going to do w/butterknives. lol) Well, me and Tommy (same age) were bored, and we sat on the floor, knife in hand, and he starts whistling. (His Dad had taught him). I was so excited! "How? How, Tommy?" He taught me how to whistle that night. 🤣 I have a lot of memories w/this family. A couple years earlier, Tommy slammed the car door on my middle finger when we got out to go to kindergarten, broke it. Only broken bone I've ever had. A few years after his little brother, Roger, stuck his BB gun up to my butt while I was going through a barbwire fence to the cow field. "Bammmm" I still have the scar on my butt. Memories, awe... Gotta love em!
