I know this song is a love song between two people. But the first time I heard this song I thought about the day my son was born. Evertime I heard it I thought about him and it brought a huge smile to my face. I lost my son this year at age 40 to cancer. But it is true I will love him until I die.

This song is definitely my favorite because it is pure and comes from the heart. I am 27 and I have had the chance to love one woman. I also got to see Sammy Kershaw here in PA when he did a free concert at a small town firemans carnival. He sang this song while there. This was my step fathers favorite song and we listened to it at his funeral, he died of a heart attack on 11-8-18 and my mum says it’s my fault that he is gone. He had two children and his daughter was only three. When we were at the viewing she touched his face and said, “ I love you daddy and I know your up in heaven with grandpa and Jesus” I started sobbing and hugging her. I haven’t seen her or her big brother since the funeral. I miss them very much. I wish I could believe that it isn’t my fault that he is dead. But it is my fault. Goodbye Michael, I will always remember you as the closest thing I had to a dad!❤️

OMG, I loved my Baby, but I have to let go of him! It is killing me! I have some recordings of my husband singing about how much he loved me and didn't want to leave me. It broke my heart. He is in heaven with Jesus. I have had one hell of a roller coaster rides the past year (2017), hurricane, losing our home, my love of my life, and our truck. It is a miracle that I am alive. Life must go on though. If I have to live another 20, I don't want to spend it alone. God has given me another chance.

I was paralyzed in a accident in 2001 and my Fiance at the time, never left my side. Even though I tried to push her away, but she stayed. I was depressed, so she took every single rehab classes I had. She continued to take care of me and I couldn't have been more blessed. I pushed her away and did things I'm not proud of, but...she's the love of my life and the reason I'm still here. Thank you Misty Phillips for everything. You are the one and only love of my life.
