Alyssa, A quick mnemonic my teacher taught me forever ago to memorize the planets in order. I though I would share it with you, in case you may like it. Here’s the sentence: Man Very Easily Makes Jokes So U (don’t- this is an extra word, so emphasize that this is not one of the planets) Need (to-again extra word) Practice. Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune & Pluto. Now I’m a little younger than your Mama and it has worked for me for…oh my, almost 40 years. Also, I know Pluto got downgraded to a star for awhile, but hip hip hooray it’s back to being a planet. I am also a homeschool momma and sadly I am on the last 2 years with her. I’m going to and have kept all my books over the years. My hubby and I decided years ago, when we especially saw the school system, even private schools were going nutty, that we could lend the books out to our adult kids homeschooling. We have also made a commitment to each of them that I am willing to homeschool them if for some reason they may need to have both parents working. **Any parents who homeschooled your children really consider homeschooling your grandchildren, if your children need to work.*** Protecting the next generation is even more imperative now! Alyssa, Sweetie I was exactly like you. Super organized,etc. It’s like watching my younger self. You & John are doing amazing! Even though I’m not your Momma I’m so proud of you both.
