I saw this footage from another KZfaqr's prospective and the speed at which those locos go through is amazing! But yeah might be advisable to stand slightly further back from the platform edge, I know I wouldn't be that close!

Wow! Reminds me of years ago by college days when my buddies and I one night went into the long , dark train tunnel in Niles Canyon in Fremont. When that train roared into the tunnel, we were that close when it went by while we were hiding in cubbyholes. It was stupid, but at least I hadn’t been drinking, as had some of my buddies who were even more stupid than I was!

Ok, just gonna say this now. You were standing W A Y too close to the train. Not tryna be rude or anything but that's dangerously close to the train, especially when it's going 70 mph.
@uprailroadkidthomas Жыл бұрын
I understand, I really appreciate it, and I realized that, too. When I return there again, I will stay further behind the yellow line.

I would think at that speed and distance, even some loose plastic wrap on a lumber load would be dangerous, to say nothing of a loose steel band tie-down...I would think one of those would take a finger with it.

Only a matter of time before a loose strap or some other piece of flying metal cuts one of these geniuses in half. I've watched a loose strap put a massive dent in signal hut before. I guess some people have to learn the hard way.

Stand a litte further back, i know it's cool but an open door or something broke on any one of those trailers or containers and your never going to film another train. Leave your camera there on a tripod if ou must but step back please.
