I always thought you had to have talent to draw..ALWAYS! About 6 years ago i realized that i had been misinformed from kindergarten!! Now one in my education had ever taught us how to use or find creativity. We had art...but everyone knows elementary art class is a joke. Wow! You were right, Kristy! It was indeed the most important video I have watched in a long time! I love color, and I love flowers and art. But I am just beyond awful. So I collect paint and brushes and paper, but put off using them, because I fear another dismal art session. I have never thought of it as just play time with no outcome. That is a great attitude to take on!

Sketching out that hydrangea was FUN! Never thought I'd be able to create something even close to resembling an actual hydrangea..... but here I am, killing it! Lol!! This was a terrific collection of floral sketches that's about to decorate one of my sketchbook pages. Hopefully you'll get a kick out of the fact that I couldn't help but think of the "Feed me, Seymour" scene in "Little Shop of Horrors" when you put the cracks in the flower buds. I'm forever going to think of that when I see flower buds that are slightly cracked open.
