@@NearchosRoumbas actually the mod is from 2016, they began making it in 2015 and released it publically in 2016, they only just recently released it on curseforge (im just taking this from the creators comment on curseforge btw)

You had the wrong mode on as spider man idk which button but you can switch to swinging mode wich actualy makes you swing instead of just pulling you closer to whatever you shot

Try speedster heros for 1.12.2 its like a classic mod but its really well made and you can be a bunch of characters from the flash multiverse the same guy also makes a ton more super hero mods

to web swing you have to press b to toggle web swing and then press your mouse right button. all you did as spiderman was web pulling yourself to places real quick.
