For the astronauts of Shenzhou-13, which has been launched successfully on 15 Oct 2021, it’s not once but 16 times sunrise in a day!
The space station is orbiting at such a velocity that it sees a sunrise every 90 minutes. Thus, every day, the astronauts witness 16 sunrises and 16 sunsets!
This stunning sunrise was broadcast through “Lightchasers 2022” New Year Livestream on WeChat channels and more than 10 million audience watched this spectacle together on the first day of 2022.
