Today we take a look at Amazon UK DNG1 / SNG1, Interlink Way E, Bardon Hill, Coalville LE67 1PD.
We speak to security in the hut about Amazon Flex and then have a little look around the publicly accessible areas leading to the visitors reception.
Security then approach us whilst outside flying the drone and call for backup.
We inform security of our findings and all leave on good terms.

Smokers are also bad litterers, I always find lots of litter wherever there are lots ciggie butt's , and invariably they throw the empty packets , and anything they cannot be bothered binning . 😢 (I guess if they are happy to put crap into their lungs , then a bit of litter on the ground is not going to be given a second thought . They can smoke if they like ( and can afford it ) , but I do object to their other bad habits of littering

Such a beautiful little wetland habitat running through this site. There should be fish in the water, birds foraging for insects, frogs and toads spawning - totally abused with what appears indiscriminate on site littering. I guarantee the security guard has seen people chucking their fast food packaging and cancer sticks on the floor (an illegal act) and done nothing, yet challenges a member of the public undertaking a lawful activity! Amazon have the privilege of utilizing this land space to advance their business, surely they have a duty of care to protect the environment and maintain some biodiversity here. It shows a lack of respect and is anti-social - just dirty Amazon, makes my blood boil. Another educational audit DJ, thank you.

They need to clean that smoking area up, the company should not tolerate all the mess. All the rubbish around the waterway should be cleaned up by the company also, it is their responsibility because the waterway runs through their land, so it stands to reason the rubbish has accumulated from people on their land. The security guys were good and didn't go ballistic and call the police, which is nice. The company certainly need to take some action on general housekeeping though, the facilities Manager should be sorting those issues out.

A smart fridge is basically a locked fridge that can be opened from an app on your phone. It knows what you have taken from the weight of the item removed, charging you accordingly. They can hold fresh food, sandwiches, ready meals etc. Regular vending machines, although 'chilled', generally aren't cold enough for fresh food Selecta are a swiss company, and in switzerland they called a vending machine 'a selecta' (I work for them)

What annoys me is that so many companies Marie the idea that they are environmentally responsible and yet when you visit these operations you see the reality on the ground and in the waterways. It proves what the real culture is like. Amazon, for example, state “At Amazon, we’re committed to and invested in sustainability because it’s a win all around - it’s good for the planet, for business, for our customers and for our communities.” Your video proves that its really all hot air designed to fool the public. Disgraceful. Well done DJ for exposing this corporate nonsense.

Difficult to make any money out of Flex unless you are lucky to get a route near depot. A lot of the time they can send you up to 25miles + from depot so you will use a decent bit of fuel. Quick tip: once you arrive onsite at Amazon to collect your Flex route - as long as you have scanned your route, you will get paid for the full route whether you decide to continue or refuse the route. I’ve seen drivers discover the area they have been allocated once they see their parcels, scan the route, inform staff they do not wish to do that area, then drive off without loading and go home - paid in full.

Simple. Anyone who wants to maintain a family home needs to get paid enough to do that, and security pays chump-change. What SHOULD happen, is that no-one will do the job, and so the multi-billion pound corporations such as Securitas, FGH, CIS etc will have to raise the wage to attract potential employees. Luckily, the Government has the corporations covered with totally open borders, so there's a ready supply of -slaves- low wage workers. No need to pay the inhabitants of this country a living wage when you have -slaves- a ready supply of migrant workers.

In Germany we have a general deposit-refund system, almost all cans & bottles can be returned. Helps to keep the environment clean. Also, nice interaction with the security.

Amazon flex is a first come first serve basis u see a block of routes u choose one if it's still available and you turn up to collect but u have what Ur given. Usually the money is not worth the fuel cost etc... It's rubbish

Well done DJ..very professional. I was ,however, very concerned about all them Parking Cones all over the roads double yellow lines...a lot of which have been damaged. I am pretty sure they are NOT official police ones. Whats your opinion??
