We can assume Delilah is at least level 15/16 as a necromancer, likely 20 since she was part of the end game in C1. Since this Delilah is literally a shadow of her former self, I would assume she’s about level 10/12, with the tree being her big weakness it doesn’t seem like a big fight from this clip but watching the party slowly figure out the stages and areas to attack while dealing with 3 rounds of attacks from lair actions, tree actions, and Delilah attacks. It was nutz in a half shell

@@shadowpsykie I think it's a reference to the meme from "Breaking Bad"; where the character of Jesse Pinkman is having a mental breakdown, screaming about how the character Walter White keeps getting away with his murderous crimes. Since then, the line has been recycled as a response to nearly any form of repeated mischief, ala Matt Mercer.

Can u talk about the GODLY acting by Laura and Marisha this episode? Marisha was prob half-watching half-on-the-phone when Matt called her. 2 minutes later BAM teary eyes, raspy voice, trauma in the face, Laudna was there the whole time. Laura had been playing for a while but immediatly clicked with Marisha in what has quickly become one of my favourite things in C3: Laudna and Imogen. Jesus

i feel like 18:41 was such an underrated moment that I don't see many people talking about. Matts execution saying get down with such anger, I felt that in my soul. Your chapter title is perfect for it "yep, that's a voice actor" his skill is unmatched. also, I can't get over Marishas voice crack at 12:51 saying Imogens name and Lauras performance at 13:53. This entire episode was *chefs kiss* I love the flawless talent everyone has at this table.

It was a small detail, but Sam and then Liam leaving the table when they fell really amped up the intensity of this fight. Like we knew they should be fine back at Pike's, but the dwindling numbers and knowing this is likely Laudna's last chance..... *shivers*

I think I realized why the Laudna moment hit me so hard, besides the good performances. It's the first time, I think, we've seen a player character actively suffering and in such despair (mind-controlled Yasha is in there of course, but she didn't have voice to express herself). It wasn't just that Laudna was dead, but she was in a very, very personal hell, and we got to see her lucid in it.

Ashley has been the MVP of every combat almost, IMO. Also everytime combat is about to start, I always look at Travis because you can see the excitement coming on his face.

My favorite part of this episode is that Laura "cupcaked" Matt again. She disguised her attack as a simple threat, but by saying "Delilah Briarwood", she was able to get her attack off even though Delilah was waiting for it. Not as dramatic as the hag, but still such a clever move.
