I've been running a similar deck but switching out Rogue for Hope and Blob for Blue Marvel to help get Skaar discount for Mockingbird and to boost my lower power cards when opponents don't expect it and it's been really reliable. That extra energy from Hope lets me play more of my hand out even late game

Those are really cool substitutions! I'm really intrigued with Blue Marvel instead of Blob. That's a creative way to get Mockingbird to 10 for a potentially free Skaar.

This comment is getting pinned. I tried out Blue Marvel instead of Blob and he’s fantastic. What this highlights is that the Blob slot is fully replaceable! Now with Rogue… she is just an 8 cube machine and good tech against Mobius. But ultimately it’s personal choice if you want tech or to go full in on power.

That sounds like a good substitute. You could also try a big power 5 cost card like Gamora, Red Skull, or Devil Dinosaur. Or even 4 cost Crossbones. They can help your Skaar be free better than Mockingbird could anyway.

Hi! I think Sasquatch is going to be a strong card going forward so the gamble worked out 😂! And you might actually be able to fit both him and Mysterio into a High Evo deck. In that way, he’s a tiny bit worse than Mockingbird but since you don’t have her, it still might work out.

Another great video and a deck I will definitely look to try out. Do you have any tips as to how i can get into the top 5k on Infinite. I have bounced between 6k and 10k Infinite rank for 3 weeks and its super frustrating

Good question! The higher you climb, the better the competition. You also gain less Snap Points from people ranked below you. So climbing gets harder and falling gets easier. The biggest tips: 1. Focus on snapping and retreating. When you lose, sit there and analyze on what turn you actually lost. A lot of games are decided before turn 6. 2. Have a surprise card. For this deck, that’s Rogue. I’ve had multiple players snap turn 6 for 8 cubes, only for me to last turn Rogue their Iron Man for a crushing win. Better players can predict your deck moves so having a surprise is almost required. This is another reason why I favor off meta decks! If I can get a little ahead on my gameplay videos, I’ll make a Tips and Tricks one. I already have notes for it.

@NerdDynamite I feel like knowing when to Snap is my biggest weakness. There are times I probably wait a turn or two too many and I allow my opponent to draw their win condition/counters to my deck but also I find I often snap too early before really understanding what it is my opponent is wanting to do. I really like your suggestion of reviewing my games. I play all my games on mobile and feel like I'd maybe do a bit better with access to a deck tracker but after seeing you play your deck without a tracker it shows that I have plenty more to learn.

@@bellers23 You’re on the right path! This is why I explain all of my thoughts. I got much better at snapping by practicing in Silver Conquest. It’s still pretty low stakes but people mostly play for real. I also try to play seriously when recording, to properly show snapping and retreating. I’m sure I’ve left in when I’ve snapped and then end up retreating in the same game. Reviewing your own games after a rough loss is super tough lol. Sometimes I struggle and just leave quickly because I can’t take it 😂. But sometimes I’ll suck it up, ignore my opponent emote spamming me, and really sit there to see if there was any way I could’ve won. And there’s no shame if you give in to PC and use a deck tracker! Every PC player does anyway and it’s definitely an advantage.

Yes!! My suggestions for substitutions: 1. Blue Marvel - This deck can really flood the board with Mysterio and your 1 cost cards. So Blue Marvel can be worth 11-14 total power. 2. A big power 5 cost card like Gamora, Red Skull, or Devil Dinosaur - They can help your Skaar be free better than Mockingbird. 3. Crossbones - He has the same effect as a big 5 cost card in discounting Skaar. Hope one of these options work. Good luck!

What card released this season do you think is the best?

My rankings: 1. Sasquatch - Big power that can have its cost reduced, will normally have a long card life. 2. Namora - Super similar to Ms Marvel. Namora is often at least a 5/11 which is very good. When she's 5/16 that's even better of course. 3. Nocturne - Versatile card that can fit in many different decks. 4. Sage - Good card with decent to great power for her cost. Those rankings are probably controversial lol. I only decided to unlock Sasquatch and Namora. I'm happy with that decision since I've watched gameplay on the others and don't like using those decks. Ultimately, that's what matters. What types of decks do you like playing?

My ranking is actually reversed with yours lol, but that's cool. As you said it comes to deck preference. I love bast decks (bounce and pixie) and clog/control (stupidly op right now). Keep up good work! Happy to see your subs number go up.

@@Niedzwiedz17 😂 that’s the funny thing about rankings in this game. I’m still early into content creation and no clue what to do what shorts. I’m considering doing card previews there. Just trying to figure out how best to provide a recommendation when everyone likes playing different styles. And thanks!
