Christopher Tin also wrote the themes for the Civilization video games, and all of the themes are really epic. The theme for Civilization IV, "Baba Yetu", has The Lord's Prayer in Kiswahili for its lyrics, and was also the first video game soundtrack to win a Grammy. Really impressive composer all around
@JimTheFly
@JimTheFly Жыл бұрын
My gamer symphony orchestra performed Baba Yetu, and because of illness, I had to step in at the last minute to be the soloist for it. I've been singing in church choirs for nearly 40 years now and I've never had a piece move me as much as that did. Even when I performed it, I cried during the bridge, because I described the solo part during it as the closest thing to "the Spirit moving me". We did it a second time with the original soloist doing his part and both I and the alto soloist got even MORE emotional from it. That song just has a power to it that I can't put into words.

The only difference is HiFi Stereo-phonics and zero distortion played through wooden speakers holding tweeters, woofers and subwoofers. 3 1/2’ tall. Procal Harem, Yes, Moody Blues it gets you to a better place and late for school, because I was, and I was honest about it. FM; King Biscuit Flower Hour; or was it Flour? Any way it was nation wide. I think this video proves that we are all connected regardless of our background. We can just listen to this and immediately feel some kind of way...without putting any of these people who are singing in categories/affiliations/life situations. We are all connected. Love your neighbor. Love life. Love the connectedness we have.
