Sultana Hurrem walks towards the power.
Will Nigar confess to Sultana Hatice that she has an affair with Ibrahim? What lesson will Sultan Suleiman teach to Prince Mustafa as he is sending him to the sanjak? Will Hatice believe Hurrem's unexpected witness? Will Mahidevran allow Gulfem to set the accounts with her? The Magnificent Century is on Star tonight with it's season finale which many questions will be answered.
Sultana Hatice catches Nigar as she is about to escape. Hatice asks her what happened between Ibrahim and her. Nigar denies her affair with Ibrahim. She tells her that the baby she carries is Nasuh Efendi's. Hatice can't decide what to believe. She decides to face with Hurrem.
Sultan Suleiman teaches a heavy lesson to Prince Mustafa who prepares going to sanjak. Prince Mustafa is sent off with a glorious farewell.
Ibrahim reaches to The Master after a violent conflict. However, he sees someone he has never expected in front him.
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

Selma plays depressed, sad and delusional really well.... Ibrahim is a narcissist, he knows how to get into weak woman's minds but an Alpha female like Hurrem he can't handle. Also I find it funny that Nasun Efendi has a problem with Hurrem Sultan when he follows behind the man who stole his happiness. And isn't it treason to speak on the Sultans wife in such a way.

"I can't live without Ibrahim." I don't know about you, guys, but upon hearing those words coming out of Hatice's mouth, I wanted to get inside the screen, smack her at the back of her head and give her a real earful: You can and you will! Look at the situation, Hatice! Have you no honour? No dignity? Is this how you wanted to be treated? With ridicule and mockery? Is this the man you think you deserve? A man who vents his inferiority complex by sleeping with servants and fathering children, while he expects and demands of you to honour your marital vows? This man doesn't love you, Hatice! This man doesn't care about you, Hatice! The only thing he cared about was the prestige and power he could get by becoming the sultan's brother-in-law. And now that he got them, as well as a kid or two, you are no longer of use to him. I'd then take a few breaths. After all, I'd need to calm down and Hatice needs a while to process all this ranting. Hatice, I am your friend. I only want what's best for you. Even though I am not a person who will coddle you, like you're used to. You deserve way better. I am not going to tell you what to do, but I think that a divorce is the only reasonable and honourable option. If you don't want to remarry, it's your right. But please, please, listen to what I've said to you. Don't let Ibrahim and Mahidevran get to you. They don't get to decide for you. You get to decide for you.

Well, I know I'm no princess. I faced a similar situation. After 6 years of relationship I found out he had been cheating on me for 4 years and got his side chick pregnant. Because she made him "feel good about himself" ( still he didn’t want to leave me 🤷‍♀️). He only confessed when that girl stopped taking her birth control and got pregnant on purpose 🤣 I didn’t give it a second thought. I dumped him right on the spot and moved on. I thought I couldn't live without him but still I walked away from that relationship. And trust me I'm doing much better now. Everyone should know their worth. Whoever he / she is.

But remember that as much as I dislike Ibrahim's character, Hatice called him a slave. Of course he is her subject, but she didn't have to humiliate him like this - if my husband would say so, I would be also very angry. So yes, he cheated on her which is terrible in any way, but she also treated people (Hürrem, Ibrahim,etc) like she was better than them with no reason. Because at first Hürrem was her friend. So, she married Ibrahim and befriended Hürrem still seeing them as slaves?
@user-ob4sq6fi3s
@user-ob4sq6fi3s Жыл бұрын
@@nielubieinceli I see your point. Frankly, I think that Hatice had genuine feelings for both Hurrem and Ibrahim. Sadly, the doctrine she was raised under (the bllod of the dynasty is the only reason you need to make others respect, obey and fear you) outweights these feelings. Even Hatice, who admittedly is the most genuine and kindhearted among the sultanas of her generation (and some even claim of those in the next) couldn't escape that.

His example helped him become headstrong, reckless and disobedient

I actually feel bad for Ibrahim and Nigar. Technically, they were both servants. Ibrahim even talked to Nasuh Efendi about leaving everything behind (including his high-ranking position) and living a normal life with his woman. Nasuh Efendi laughed and said that Hatice would never go with him and live like that. But Ibrahim was talking about Nigar, not Hatice. I remember watching much of this series and finding Hatice to be the most annoying and self-entitled woman in the entire show. Hatice had frequent episodes of severe depression and paranoia about being cursed, even when Ibrahim was faithful to her. Someone like Hatice would drive me mad. None of the other women in the show were anywhere near as bad as Hatice. Ultimately, Hatice should’ve listened to Mahidevran before Hurrem became too powerful. But she didn’t, and that led to her own miserable demise.

I don't mind Hatice. She was sheltered and spoiled. She grew up as the daughter of a Sultan. What else did she know? I wish they showed more of Ibrahim struggling with his place in life. They do a bit with his monologues, but they could have done more. Ultimately, he was right. Who was he? Were they really in love? Was he really Suleiman's friend and brother? How is it true if you're a slave? And then, eventually, he was murdered. What's really sad is that even after Ibrahim tried to explain, Hatice still didn't understand. Maybe she did later. I like to think she did forgive him a bit. She did mourn his death.
