With that in mind, defaulting to the actual Pro models because they're "the best" isn't necessarily the best idea! I’m going to get a graduation/ first semester of college present for myself, and since I’m blind (like actually), I’m going to get the 15 pro max so I have the biggest phone and best camera so I can use the very limited vision I have to have the best phone experience. I also need more storage and a better battery. Lol I did say I’m blind, but 90% of blind people have some usable vision. I can see very large text (310% right now on my iPhone 11), and take a lot of pictures to zoom in on things, so I like the zoom. Thank you for coming to my teddTalk

Same bro, but I'm holding out until the 16s. My hope is there will be an iPhone SE update which will (hopefully) be in a 13 mini chassis but with improved chip efficiency = better battery. But even if it's normal sized I think it will do everything better than a 13 mini so still worth the wait. That's my theory at least, hopefully they don't drag the 11/12/13 out of the graveyard and throw an A16 at it and call it a day, that would suck!

I just switched from the 13 mini to the 15. I do miss the size of the mini but I’ve mostly gotten used to the 15 now. I wish they had a mini with the frosted back and Dynamic Island.

I picked 15 pro and I’ve been enjoying it. Mainly, I like the size, screen, weight, cameras and most importantly I can move all of the videos into an SSD as quickly as a wink. Phones don’t seem any more exciting these days, I guess I can keep using this puppy for quite some time.

I went with the 15 pro versus the regular 15 because of the pro motion, the natural titanium color, and just a better camera system. All menial things but I have always wanted a grey-ish phone and NOW IT'S HERE AND I REALLY WANTED IT!

I’ve got the 15 Pro Max and got to help my sister set up her 15 Plus. Playing around with it - I most likely would’ve been very happy with the 15 Plus if I wasn’t such a tech snob. I’m still happy with the 15 Pro Max though, definitely getting my bang for my buck out of it.

the macro on my 15 pro sucks, half the time it wont even focus and sometimes photos are fuzzy and not clear. my 13 pro took better photos and sometimes i think my iphone 15 did better then my 15 pro

Always on display, (natural) titanium feel and look, 120Hz, programmed action button, better sound, sexy looking camera block and a feeling that you got in your hand the best tech object in the world ARE worth extra 200-300 bucks I think. Happy with my 15Pro)) But eah 15 is good too! In some points its even better - less heavy, less ego))

I only upgrade my phone when something breaks or becomes obsolete 🤣 my iPhone 11 Pro Max stopped being able to make calls except on speaker so I upgraded to the 15 Pro Max last night and my wife snagged the 15 Plus. So far loving it and looking forward to the better video quality from it for BTS footage.

I think it's a great choice, and the "correct" choice for the vast majority of buyers/potential buyers. If you're not a content creator (taking advantage of faster data transfer, snapping Pro RAW pics and using the dedicated Tele lens/sensor regularly, recording video in Pro Res/cinematic or S-log with the option of outputting to an external SSD), or a gamer (120 Hz display refresh-rate & slightly faster SoC), then yeah -- the Pro models, as Noah said, are a reflection of buyers "flexing". You get better battery life with the non-Pro models, the iP 15 Plus is as light as a feather for its size, AND I keep hearing reports that the 15 Pro/Max Titanium variants are breaking easier when owners drop them (even with a case) - only part of the their housing is titanium.

I agree 100 percent with you. I bought the base iPhone 15 because it does meet 99 percent of my needs and usability. The money I save over the Pro model is very much appreciated. I almost never need a telephoto camera. I definitely don't care about 120Hz refresh, USB 3.2, and the Action button. And the phone fits comfortably in my pocket - I don't want the larger display.

Some people don’t like the largest phone, so that makes the smaller pro super relevant. 120HZ is the way. Would never buy a regular iPhone over a pro iPhone. 5x camera is way over hyped. And digital zoom sucks.

I got the green 15 plus and I don’t need or want the pro max for the first time ever. I’m not a fan of the build quality on the 15pm for the titanium design. I still think a Vapor chamber should have been added for the pro series to help distribute heat as titanium collects it. Not hating but I come from a 13 pro max and I am not interested in pro max this year.

used Samsung S22 for a year and could never really justify the extra battery usage over something i barely noticed. Now im on Pixel 7 Pro and have exactly the same opinion. Even if i use it side by side with my iphone12(which i have for work) i cant really see, or feel any difference between 120, and 60hz - except for battery usage And im currently typing this message on 165hz 2k IPS monitor - which has made the 60hz 1080p LCD monitors at my workplace feel like garbage. There i can CLEARLY see, and feel a difference even though i use them for very different things.

We opt for 2x iPhone plus 256GB this year and let me tell you the phones are great; my wife comes from iPhone X and I come from Xr that was my a bridge phone for about 6 months because I shattered my iPhone 13 256GB accidentally, and let me tell you the iPhone 13 is what majority people need, it has it all pretty much just like 15 model or the latest pro models; This I really why I have a soft spot for an iPhone 13 model ❤ ultimately the Best Buy option among the smartphones!

I enjoy the large and wide display with the 15PM. I don’t enjoy the fact that there’s issues with something as basic as the keyboard. Try enabling sounds or haptic feedback and then try replying a message from long pressing a notification on the Lock Screen. There’s parts of the keyboard which are flat out non responsive, to me this is unacceptable in this day and age for a phone which costs 1200$

Plus and Pro Max are too big unless you have a bag to carry them around. The Pro Max also have no 3x optical zoom so looks worse than the pro until you get to 5x

I think you’re dragging it a little. I have the 15 plus and it’s light and fits in my pocket. Also I thought I would struggle to handle it seeing as this is my first 6.7 iPhone but I got used to it immediately.

Spent a good week with the normal 15 and I'll say it's worth all the money and it's not gotten me wanting the 15 Pro at all. And when Noah said "10-ish hours" it exceeds that lol, try 12-ish hours. 5-6hrs of SoT to go along with that as well. Great phone overall, the smaller 15 is a really good buy for anyone wondering.

Dynamic Island ingenious ? Small hole punch vs that and you'd rather have that especially when watching content . Not how Android does it by just showing it on the screen when needed while keeping the much smaller hole punch

I'm with you. 👍🏻 Apple's mobile hardware is no doubt some of the best out there, but the boring, non-customizable UI, the "walled-garden" OS with too many fee-based Apps, and that silly, intrusive "Dynamic floating notch" 😅 are factors that prevent me from buying an iPhone or iPad Pro.

Your iPhone 13 is fine for at least 3 years from now. Most people are “upgrading” not out of real necessity but boredom or status. Just like most pickup truck owners don’t actually do trades so don’t actually need a huge vehicle to haul stuff more like for the status.

I gave my 13 pro max to Mom and got 15 plus in pink instead and for me? My 15 plus way better than the pro max that I had. Better camera, lighter phone, battery is amazing! So people who refuse to get this phone because it doesn’t have a 120hz look silly to me. I think they only care about the bigger number because I don’t even see the difference myself. Lol

I used the standard 15 at target yesterday and it did not feel any less fast then my 13 pro max in any way. I was going to just get the 13 pro max again because my phone has touchscreen issues, but now I'll save a little more or about the same for a newer iphone 15 plus because of the long battery life and super high brightness. I don't really care much about telephoto I barely use it on my 13 pro max. Surprisenly it's my favorite model of the 15 series then the max

My rules: Never buy for the full price, never buy one that's older than 1.5 years. I recently tried a 15 Pro in the Apple Store and 120 Hz feels incredible, but I still don't really care too much. So it's either the 16 during black week or the 15 Pro a bit earlier, that's the plan. My X is technically fine, but annoys me sometimes and I want an Apple Watch, so I have to upgrade anyways. Edit: or the 15, if I'm really impatient.

The 15 pro has been very good for me. I got tired of larger phones and the hand fatigue you can get from using them. It also fits in my pocket better.

i bought a few days ago the 14 plus as they are now discounted at great deals. As someone who had the first iphone at release and used the iphone 6s until a few days ago, my mind is blown. Charged it yesterday at 13 PM, had today after 29 Hours at 18 PM still 12% battery left. The cameras are stunning on the iphone 14 plus, even with the 12 MP. I thin the Pro Max models are actually only interesting if you really into photography. The people i know who own a pro max take absolute standard pictures and never utilize the power of the cameras truly.

My 14 plus will out perform my 15 pro max in battery life. If Apple brings out a product red 15 plus in the spring, I will trade my pro max for it.

Still rocking with the 13 mini into 2024 because I love the size of this thing. It still has good cameras and performance, no real problems for me with this phone.

120 hertz is why I went with the 15 pro max. If the 15 plus had 120 hertz I would have went with that one instead. Not too mention that nice pink color is bae asf.

The problem in choosing any iphone instead of 15 is the usb charge, from now on, Apple will use USB C for everything and from iPhone 14 onwards it will be obsolete, not in camera or other settings, just in the charging part. In my opinion, I will update the iPhone 15 Pro Max because I have had the iPhone X since 2017.

These two are enough to be out off by the regular model: 60Hz refresh rate and USB-C 2.0 Pathetic from a $1300 phone. At least that's the price they selling in my country for the cheapest iphone which is the iphone 15 128GB.

For me, what does it is the 5x tele lens on the pro max model but honestly the 15 plus was about $700.00 cheaper so its what I went with and Im still real happy with it :)

since i still have my iPhone 13 Pro Max (that i absolutely hate for various reasons), it's inadequate to type on for the most part and while the battery life is great, but i'm also not that much of a power user on the phone to where it matters that much even with me being deep into tech. i think the 15 Pro is a great compact option based on your reasons and then the 15 is great for if someone who doesn't care about the specifics in tech and just wants an all around subtle, but efficient phone.

For me I have a 12 pro max right now and I want the 15 pro max I’m gonna get it around the 15th I know I would be perfectly fine with the 15 plus but I just want the higher end features plus I’m gonna have it for the next 2-3 years

I have the same phone as you. I went into the Apple store and played with the 15 Pro Max, while my wife was shopping. In the hand side-by-side they are very similar phones. I’m not a photographer or mobile gamer, so the upgrade is simply not worth it for me. YMMV.

I'm so used to always on display I couldn't go for 15 or 15 plus. Aware that many don't care about it, but for me it's deal breaker.

I've been in Android world for 8 years now (coming from iPhones 3G, 4, and 5). We're probably arguably a bit "spoiled" in that nearly all Android devices include AOD, and midrange (& even many budget) Android phones now typically have a minimum display-refresh rate of 90 Hz -- plus so many other value-added differentiators versus iPhones.
