The group goes to a magic shop to identify the deck of cards - if they can find one. If successful, sheldon will suggest selling the deck, as the risk of drawing another bad card is still too high, and they could use the money to gear up. Hornaldo will try to find a temple who can help him against Visuriel (the identity of the devil who threatened Hornaldo, and whose name the party in this campaign is not yet aware of). Visuriel monitors Hornaldo's actions as normal, but maybe put a plot twist with the flames card wherein Hornaldo could be spared... in exchange for a favor...

My son suggests they run into a displacer mimic, this like a mimic that can create illusions as well as shape shift. If you try to open he mimic it takes you into it and you a surrounded by darkness but it's only an illusion

Option 1:) The team goes to a magic shop where asmond is there to see the value of the deck. Because one of the bad cards is removed from the deck asmond is wiling to give the team one each magical item in exchange for this deck. Rumple gets a never ending flask that gives him lucky. Sheldon gets a spiked shell to which Hornaldo can throw him like a blue shell lol. Hornaldo gets a hammer Hoptimusprime gets a wand of sorts? Gurgle gets a hat of vermin? Birdman gets a bag of tricks Option 2:) The team lets asmond pull a card out of the deck of many things in exchange for information on how to beat the devil that is hunting hornaldo.

The travelers find a magic shop in the city. It’s a strange place, almost like it’s not meant to be here. The shopkeeper offers to appraise the cards for free. In exchange they will be willing participants in a new experimental psychedelic experience the mage has developed. He persuades them with promises of divine information and enhanced skills. The mage is working for the Machine Elves.

For a high level dice roll for a investigation check for a magical shop, they go to a fancy store that has high magical level items and artifacts. For a low dice roll they go to a shady dark alley unaware of what they're going through but eventually find a secret entrance to find a underground market that is shady and favoring the criminal insane. For a somewhat decent dice roll they get lost and find a disposal junkyard for garbage fill to the brink of disgusting garbage and underwear(s) that has stains to much to bear

First of all, AI guy, you need to consider multiple comments requesting the same thing as one total count of likes because there were multiple commenters posting about Rumple getting an endless bottle of rum. All totaled far more likes than the singular Deck of Many Things comment. Something to consider going forward. With that being said, I say let the Deck of Many Things going inert for 24 hours after each draw to keep the party from spamming through the deck. Story-wise, have the group proceed to the nearest temple to try to free Hornado from this devilish creature.

They make their way to the magic shop and get attacked by an unknown group, at least one member of the group dies (Either Trump or Elon's character to set the tone that this isn't like their other campaign) but the demon within Samuel's character in a twist turns out to be a good guy and lend his powers onto Samuel to beat off all the foes leaving the others with questions once the battle is over.

Starting off with a 9th level spell and a Deck of Many Things does not give me the warm and fuzzies about how the commenters will guide this series. What next? Will this group of first level adventurers team up with Thor and Ra and go on an adventure through the Astral Plane? You are the professional writer, maybe you should be the one who does the writing. I am totally supportive of this Chanel, but want to admit this does not seem as worthwhile as the other storylines. There is too much here for the audience to identify with the characters and root for them. Easy replacement seems leads to apathy in the audience, imho.
