I think she can emote pain and sadness real well is because Judy's life behind the curtains was a rollercoaster. We feel her pain and want to hold her, because we know it's not all an act. Her talent is a blessing and a curse.

the fact that Metro kept finding ways of keeping her young, instead of letting her blossom. There were hints in the 40s of how stunning she was, but Mayer and Co. were real douche canoes.

This was one of her first movies where she looked beautiful and grown up. I think she looks better in this film then she did two years later in "Presenting Lily Mars", which was intended to portray her as "glamorous". But that came when she was in Meet Me In St Louis thanks to her new makeup artist Dottie Ponedel... It's such a shame she was so self conscious about her looks. I think she was more beautiful than alot of actresses in Hollywood, and by far the most talented

Danny Chavez she looked the best in the ending scene for Lily Mars. I think the hairstyle they put her in for most of the movie didn't flatter her face shape. MGM didn't REALLY start giving her the "glamour treatment" until Meet Me in St. Louis. In my opinion, she looked her absolute best in 1945-1946, right before she had Liza. The Clock and The Harvey Girls should've put to rest any idea that Judy wasn't beautiful.

While Oz is her most well known role, I could never stand how she looked in that. The hair color, that pooch to her lower lip, far too doll-like. But in this movie and Ziegfeld Girl, she is absolutely next door girl gorgeous!

Why not make sure that you are truly saved by Jesus Christ and practice this way. Remorsefully confess with your heart your sins to Jesus Christ who is God and tell Him that you right now are repenting of your sins and you want to be born again of the Spirit from above. Tell Jesus that you are remorsefully sorry for breaking His commandments and that you are begging for forgiveness from Him. Allow His blood from the cross to wash away your sins. After this is done with your heart successfully the Holy Spirit will come to live within you and He will rebuild you from the inside out. Look for signs that you are saved. Things like spreading the good news from Jesus, getting other people saved, a craving for the word of God, reading the Bible, etc… These things are known as a calling and fruit bearing. If you're not bearing fruit then keep doing it. Sometimes it takes time to get saved. Read Matthew chapter 13 from the King James Bible. God bless!!!
