Can’t wait for those hangovers to come out. Paddle tail swim baits are the only larger swim baits I’ve had any luck on. Been using a mag draft but hate the internal harness system. Been ripping em out on only 2 pounders. Having a bait that will last longer cause of it being a line thru gets me stoked. Keep me ripping lips instead of baits.

I can't wait till the hangover is released. Hopefully i can get my hands on one, unlike the panorama lol. I went out yesterday morning and was throwing a provoke, and a sweep. The 4k shad juggle minnow on a drop shot was the ticket though. Started off with a 2# channel cat, then a 3# flathead, and a 5½# flathead. Then i finally started catching some decent large mouth on it. I pulled a 3# large mouth on the provoke before i headed back home. The fish where staging up at the mouths of creeks right at the channel drop.

I just spent about 12 hours in 2 days throwing everything you just showed AND more.. only thing i got bites on were a chatterbait-ofc- a Makora Lucky John>underspin, and a freaking shakey worm- $..0.88 Karl’s exclusive shakey worm in blood red kinda like you throw i think- dark red w/ flake. That’s all they wanted, very small fishery, highly pressured by villagers with their French fries and bobber baits. A lot of kayak anglers throwing 6th sense frogs I’ve found FOUR 6th sense popping frogs this year in that glorified pond with 25 houses in it - a branch off the Great Sacandaga lake. Mayfield lake. I found a ton of bass in the thick and they wouldn’t look at a frog, any tips? Shallow and THICK…. I’ve been thinking about trying gravity baits for those situations. Can’t wait for those swim baits to come out though, they look shweet .Pre rigged or freestyle? Both? You didn’t mention Ben

As plastic swimbaits go, I've yet to find a better one than the whale. It is simply the best I've ever used and I basically have one tied on, all of the time. I have wondered what the perfect keel-weighted hook is, so thanks for the heads up on the 4.0.

What you said about bass not trying to get fattened up for winter I think is false. For us in the north east every animal puts on winter weight for the cold n lack of food. We as humans even do it. I'll put on 25 lbs easy leading up to winter. I'll end winter at about 30 lbs.

The colder the water the more of the fish will eat to keep their body temperature out when the water is really warm less to keep their body temperature down I learned this in first grade I don't know about you
