My brother actually found this on his first play through I was watching him fight Queen and he pressed A to look at the actions I was surprised and he told me he accidentally pressed A during a fight and found that out

I can see this being usefull if you wanna plan out your attack, like mabye if you wanna see what actions Ralsei and Susie can do so you know what to do with Kris? Still, you can just go to Ralsei and Susies menus, so it’s really just a feature for saving time in very soecific scenarios

Imagine that with a button on a completely random scenerio, chapter 1 genocide/weird route existed...

i actually just found this 3 months ago in my replay and it shocked me because i had never seen anyone else talk about it and this is the first ive heard, for why its there it does make sense because you otherwise dont actually know what susie and ralseis unique actions will do until you try them at least once

Also you can interact with the ballet dancing things in chapter 1 and they make a chiming sound

this feature is to fight enemies such as swatchlings more easily, even because new player cant prevent what susie or ralsei would do, and this feature will be also good if kept for next chapter bcs according to certain darkners, some actions may work better than others

Either an accidental debug that was forgotten to be disable, or a little idea i like to imagine being the Soul getting stronger after sealing the previous Fountain, when you check the Status Menu, the LV is raised to 2 and in Chapter 2 you get to see how much % is needed to spare an enemy unlike in 1. Kind of like normal RPGs when you level up, you unlock a new Skill

I accidentally discovered this a while ago because I set my movement keys to WASD and my okay key to L so that I could do the angry Spamton NEO fight while mashing Enter for the rapid fire big shots. I guess remapping the controls doesn't change it because every time I went left it would appear lol. There also isn't a button that does this on controllers, so I can't tell if this feature was meant to be left in or not.

I did actually know about it through a tumblr post, and im curious where you got your information, but you left out the crucial step of why and when you get it in chapter two which is after beating cap'n cakes and those doofuses. They a key does nothing until you defeat the miniboss fight

Maybe this mechanic could be in the future as a way to Advice the player which actions someone could do, because maybe we could pair up with darkners who want the roaring to occur and will not listen to us and kris if we want things to go our way.

A mechanic that apparently exists. Larger bullets from enemy attacks do less damage to you than smaller bullets.

I guess you could use it to see them for enemies Susie/Ralsei can’t fight🤷‍♂️

Strategy, probably. By seeing what action your teammates will choose it lets you better plan ahead on how to spare in as few turns as possible.

Oh that’s why those kept blipping in and out when I was selecting stuff (I use wasd)

This is litterily like the snowgrave route... No one knows it exist, No one would even think to try a genocide, but *somehow* people found it... truly a good time to playthrough the game again :]

Cause S action and R action isn’t obvious most of the time so having a way to see their options before spending a turn on it would be useful

chances are its a secret help feature people can accidently find to get them out of a pickle

I think it is to see what Susie and Ralsei's actions contribute to the battle without leaving Kris' turn. That way, you can plan your turn from the get-go, instead of defending and cancelling later. It is not that useful of a feature and not advertised, but it's there

Who even knows at this point? 😅 Someone suggested it might've been a debug feature that was left in by accident, and it's very possible. Deltarune isn't officially released yet. As 'finished' as the two chapters seem, it's easy to forget they're still just demos and subject to change when the full game is released.

Also if you name your vessel or name gaster, the game force resets
