I can’t figure out how the back crotch length be the same as the front crotch length. They would never come up high enough in the back!

Да? Необязательно? Столько размеров держать в голове, откладывать расстояния в нужную сторону. Складывать материал и учитывать припуски. Ну , совсем ничего портновского в этих знаниях нет .
