Just getting into some serious logging on FS19 and looking a larger equipment then I am use to of course FDR was at the fore front.. I really appreciate your maps and mods but was having issues with equipment. A quick search found this video and I can't wait to bind my mouse and keys and get logging. Thnx so much, your time and commitment are greatly appreciated.

I've been using a Xbox controller for a year now and it works perfectly, little extra compared to getting the joysticks but that's why I finally ordered them to get the full experience!

If your playing on a pc, which I would assume you are. Would it be possible for you to make your device imput xml file available to those of us who may be able to alter them a wee bit, but can't actually make all the configuration's that are possible. I downloaded and installed FDR's maps and configuration's. When going into the config menu, there's not one config for a game pad. I've spent well over a hundred hour's of searching. And unlike where there is a lot of advice on how to configure KB+M, or hotas's referred to as controller's. There isn't any, any where for game pad's. Both FDR and Borgon have spent a significant amount of time and effort making their mod's in regard's to the treee harvestor's. But not utilizing a KB+M or a pair of hotas's. A game pad user, is FUC'ED.

fyi! u can delete the camera controls from giant and set it to what you want :) i use the twin stick on my xbox controller without the need of pressing a button to move. gonna order some joysticks soon

I watched this video some 5 or 6 month's ago and attempted to convert my game pad setting's to that of your joy stick setting's and because I've no idea what the majority of the various setting are for, unable to do it. Yesterday, I happen accros a video of a dude who apparently has taken the time over a couple of year's and converted using a game pad all of your setting's. I realize one has to download and utilize one or two of your mod's. But once done, one simply copy paste his entire list into the xml file and all of the gamepad setting are there. Once there, one can if carefull, reconfigure them in the same way one can reconfigure your's using a hotas without the "T" aka HOAS, Hand's on a stick. I've downloaded a copy of his config's, and today I'll download your mod's. Making sure to save the one's I have now, delete them and paste his. I've watched your video's and the way you have such control over the various tree harvesting and processing. And though I've got according to steam, some 2,200 hour's using a game pad, though I pretty good at tree harvesting and processing. Still far from the way you are able to do it.

So I ran into a problem recently. So currently I am using keyboard and mouse, when I do set keyboard bindings I will not go through. Therefore nothing is happening to my machine when I press the key I binded. I clicked save and tried to restart the game and I pressed "G" just in case and it's not working. I'd like some help please, thanks

So I set up the excavator and claw bindings... But it doesn't give me a prompt on how to attach the claw... I press Q and nothing happens

So I'm playing on xbox one. While i realize i can't use your mods, I'm having issues with the in game control scheme. Hold left bumper plus right joystick is boom in/ out and cab left/ right. Right bumper plus right stick is boom up/ down and head rotation. Left and right bumper plus right stick is head open/ close and head tilt forward/ back. It's driving me crazy. The console controllers shouldn't be too different from having 2 joysticks. Don't know why i can't hit a button for harvesting mode, to have the controller to focus purely on harvesting. As far as i can tell, there's no way to customize controls. They could have done so much better than what we got.

It's too painfull because there's totally no love for game padder's. There's numerious on how to get them to work, which when done, only allow's one to basically move about and look around as they are walking or driving. But zero when it come to configuring the various machine's them selves. When asked, the answer is always, get a pair of HOTAS'S and you'll be fine. This is the first game I've got envolved with, in which there's zero data on how to assign, alter existting any config's that may exist, let alone those that don't exist. I bet my life on the fact that I'm not the only game pad user on a pc. But perhaps I am the only one attempting to use only a game pad in this game. A game padder's can generally find an imput xml file on the web somewhere, But not for this game.
