I was at this show. This is my anthem. Today is my birthday. The same day Petty passed away one year ago. I'm 34 today, here is to 34 more. God bless this guy and what he created.

I like the way I just looked at Tom Petty a second ago & randomly thought of this band. Bc it's sad & I just wanted to be in good vibes. W/ that whole one song I know by S.S. But this popped up instead. Ok x files theme song :/. Really, I was imagining how much pressure he went through being a rockstar/famous. I know I couldn't ever do it. I'm a millennial and practically grew up from 2000 with music like this. It is a bit sad that people my age don't listen to good music like Tom Petty. Because you know The same lazy electronic beat is the best thing nowadays.

This might be too soon but Tom Petty is overrated (if only for the fact that he’s a clear Bob Dylan ripoff) but not as overrated as Slightly Stoopid (talented musicians but very unoriginal and have a serious problem with cultural appropriation).
