I'm autistic and my grandmother survived WW2 Berlin, so I've always been a _big fan_ of this bit. It's relatable on such a specific level. Lmao Also, I was recently talking to my therapist about how we don't have a "look" in autism. ..which then led me to educate him about the existence of cats with Down Syndrome. I made him Google it. Watching him try not to laugh was pretty much the highlight of my week.

My grandfather was autistic too. He went to Germany and was an outstanding WW2 mechanic. Maybe they knew each other lol. My mother was one of the best teachers in her district for years too and then I’ve been getting jabbed and ingesting toxins, carcinogens, and artificial dyes all my life so I’m just proud to be alive 😅😂

Also, Asperger’s was the sane as autism, expect the people weren't as "severely affected" and Asperger’s was if you had no speech problems/verbally delayed.

The line between the two was way too blurred for there to be separate diagnoses. I had verbal delays and speech issues but I have a feeling just bc of where I lived as a kid I'd have gotten stuck with the aspie label. Yet I also had self-harmful stims and no one thought to look into it further

I feel like everyone who is autistic that isn't a 7 year old boy who really likes Thomas the tank engine (NOT THOMAS THE TRAIN THE SHOW WAS NEVER CALLED THAT, STOP CALLING IT THAT YOUR WRONG!) gets the "you don't look autistic". Me pointing out how it's Thomas the tank engine and not Thomas the trian probably Isn’t in my favor though-

I could be qrong but im pretty sure they didnt just take the word away because of hans asperger They also took it away because diffrentiating the two was not gettung people diagnosed and possibly misdiagnosed I like correcting people respectfully. Get with it. Autism 🎉🎉🎉🎉
