I would make an argument that the E39 M5 is the greatest sedan ever made. It has looks, luxury, performance, amazing sound, an amazing engine, a manual transmission and feedback that you just don’t get in modern cars. For an enthusiast, it really has it all. Bmw really got it right with the E39

That felt fun -- I cast it on my big screen. No other logo looks as good as the BMW logo on a steering wheel, a classic look. Also that sound is so authentic and not fake or boosted. Just very natural and beautiful

That's not me driving an e39. I always let it run for about 30 seconds before moving when the engine is cold, never rev it above 2,5k rpm when it's still cold...

Dear God, I just HAVE to own one of these before I die! I had a E70 X5M but the E39 M5 is by far my favorite M vehicle, followed closely by the E30 M3!

Love the e39 m5. I have a 99 silverstone metallic with 80k miles and 2 previous owners. The timing chain tensioner is going on it so i dont dare drive it anymore, will keep it in the garage for a few years i guess

What makes a car backfire? I mean this BMW is probably not much stronger than any other E39 M5, it just sounds cooler. What why? Isn't it bad if a car backfires? Or its only the exhaust modification that does that?
