Piers Morgan Uncensored is joined by Black Lives Matter activist Imarn Ayton, former star of SAS; Who dares wins Ant Middleton and Vanity Fair royal correspondent Katie Nicholl to discuss with Piers Morgan the impact Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Netflix documentary is going to have on the Royal Family.
Ant begins by saying that he can no longer defend the Duke and Duchess of Sussex because of their attention-seeking behaviour. Piers agrees and suggests it's the rank hypocrisy that has led to the demise of their popularity. However Imarn claims that the media's critiques of the pair are mired in covert racism towards Meghan, which leads to an on-screen heated debate between the three.

Because it's a black woman, people have a problem, because she's "out of her lane", because of stereotypes, because of bias. She has no place talking like this, and that's why people have a problem with her over say a Vanessa felts, and that's covert racism and cognitive racial bias at it's finest. And is exactly the point Iman is making about attitudes towards Megan. We see it time and time again how newspapers convey stories of black footballers versus white footballers, buying their moms houses for example. Biases run through our cores and fabrics of society. We can ignore them because theyre hard to challenge and accept or we can listen to others and try to break them down and do better. Being told you have biases, especially to race is never nice, but we all do, and we should work to overcome them through dialogue, through advice and through challenging our own thoughts

what is astonishing is this woman is ignoring the letter patent signed by King George V in 1917 long before Archie or even Markle's grandparents were born which proves Archie was never going to get the title of prince no matter what color he was. Yet Markle stated explicitly that he was not given a title *because* he was part black! That was just one provable lie. Piers infuriated me that he didn't confront her with that. She however would probably say George was prescient and signed the letters patent because he knew a child of color would be born 101 years later

IKR. Racism has to have a definition that can be applied to any person, no matter the color of their skin. It isn't justifiable for someone of color to shout racism anymore then it would be for a white, yellow, red etc. individual to do the same. Racism cannot only apply if it is white against black or white against another color. Racism can be exacted against any person no matter their skin color.
