Right, leave the motivational speaking to others. "I'll think about that tomorrow. Tomorrow is another day." Scarlett O'Hara in 'Gone With The Wind' Is it true that if you have a four wheel drive vehicle, you should replace all four tires if one tire goes bad and has to be replaced? You know, to avoid damage from the difference in traction and other factors if you have differences in tire performance from mismatched tires.

Good to let the cable out fully from the drum from time to time - to release the tension and 'set', and to respool it neatly it also gives a chance to check it for any defects (fraying, rust, crimps etc)... you had enough straps onboard you could almost have recovered that from the fuel station... a tip for the radio use (use voice activated units if possible so both of you are hands-free)... give them the radio, and tell them to put it on the dash or in the console (hands free) and to just listen to your instructions, unless you ask them a specific question and ask them to use the radio to answer or confirm...

I almost beached my boat there once. Fortunately I wasn't going fast and spotted the sand bar in time to get the motor in reverse and avoid disaster. Lost of channels and sand bars. Great fishing and beautiful country.

We can actually fuel diesel ourselves everywhere in Oregon and be on our way, but I agree fill up first before leaving town as you never know what extra recovery calls you may get while in the bush.

Great video. I love the coming up ten feet short on the cable length its what life is all about. And of course you roll with and adjust.

Casey, it's amazing how many people have no idea what you're up against but they will still try to tell you how to do things. Crazy.

I am constantly amazed by the places people drive their vehicles. I would not have driven down that slope with anything less than a true off-road vehicle with aired down tires.

Thanks for another great video Casey. I like how you explain everything and you don't promote something that in your mind is not worthwhile to have or beneficial to have. I like that instead of payment you ask people to donate to a cause. He has. Some people are as you say " assholes" for leaving garbage. It is unbelievable how much garbage people just drop and don't think nothing about. Thank you for what you do. Thank you for the education and the scenery. Keep up the good work. Love your videos

Your motivational bit at the end was very fitting, honest and adlib for the moment. Plus it is spot on from my own experience. The road doesn't get smooth after getting out of the stuck spot. We still have some bumpy spots to go through before making it to the smooth roads.

A lot of FLEETS sell-off their vehicles @ 8-10 years , b4 they start a downhill run of growing minor , then more , repairs. So expect to start seeing a lot of "amazon" camper conversions ( oh P-L-E-A-S-E people , 🎨 DO Paint them a _REAL_ non-puke color !! ) . And expect to see a lot of them getting *stuck* 🙃 🤷‍♂️

Casey, a day of fun for both of us. I'm in Arizona where the average temperature has been 110 degrees for the last four weeks. So fun here is going to be sitting in the family room with the air conditioning running at full blast. I think that guy wanted to tow himself up the hill. He just bounced around while you were setting up and backing up. His hands kept moving and shaking I was afraid he was going to tell you he could pull himself out. You did great and you don't have to explain to us idiots the reason you do things. Just tell us what you are doing. Happy 😊 to watch you and it's great to hear from me. Your pal from Colorado down at the winter retreat in summer, crazy fool. Since the wife died in December I have been lost and I am here because the garage door opener quit working. Had to come down to get that fixed and start probate to get the house clear so I may sell place.
