They’ve had top dressers for at least 30+ years... ventrac has been around for over 15+ years.

If you're not within the industry that uses these, you've most likely never seen one of these. It's still a fairly uncommon machine.

30 years ago and further back I worked for a PGA level Golf Course and your partially correct. They had Top Dressers back then but they spread very heavy and uneven which made them useless and outright damaging to use on the Greens. Not to mention they were far to large/heavy to drive on the greens.... bumps and ruts in greens will get your ass fired lol

Ventrac used to be Steiner before they sold the name, not just the tractor design. So they have been around 20+ years.

1:00 Filling "evenly" is not necessarily what you want if you have low/high spots (average lawn) but would be great for golf courses and stadiums where the ;and is already flat and even. For the average lawn, you need something that 1) pushes the sand around and 2) keeps level top where it has pushed. Not much different than pouring a concrete slab.

These things are not nozzles, they are decks, sweepers, attachments or other names! The only thing that qualified as a nozzle was the outlet of the blower that removed the cut material from the sidewalk / pavement on the ventrac edger.

It wasn't until he introduced the sweeper nozzle that I figured out he was referring to each attachment / impliment as a nozzle. It could just be the region he lives in...like in Britain, a cigarette is a fag. A fag means something completely different in the united states.

I lived in third world countries that used the beach cleaner 10 years ago. Now I live on a golf course so everything else they use except the little gravel road grader. I have something similar on a three point hitch but the one they show is pretty cool when someone doesn’t have heavier equipment.
