I looked up your issue, and that seems like it is definitely the problem. There is a company called Chimera that makes an aftermarket button that replaces the stock part. They recommend that everyone should replace that part whether they have a problem or not. They cost a bit more $8US, but are supposed to be better made. I can't attest to that, but I'm ordering a couple for myself. Just an FYI...good luck!

i just started riding my monkey and it has 800 km on..how soon do you think i should change these plastic parts to avoid missing 2 gear all of a sudden like you did?

I’m changing my helmet in the next next leg and signing my Ruroc helmet and leaving at bike my bike for their wall, anyone interested in doing the helmet head tour could get a pic and have it featured on the Facebook page 😁
