I think it would be useful if you went over your thought process of when to go in and when to stay back in these engages, as Leafeon's biggest weakness is picking the wrong fight and just dying instantly

this was super interesting. at the leafeon launch, I was originally a solarblade only kinda guy but lately i've been doing razorleaf, even after the SB buff. on RL, i would get a ton of kills every game, but I felt very low impact in team fights, and my WR wasn't that much higher than 50%. I really had to look at my own gameplay critically and I think what's happening is that RL is a very single target assassin type ability that allows you to get picks really easily. Unfortunately, at the Ray fight, many times either one of my team gets picked or the enemy squishies aren't easily pickable. I've switched back over to Solar, and I feel like i see a pretty big difference at the Ray fight already. I think RL still is very good for chasing down squishies and getting picks, but SB, with the right positioning can do similar and is WAY better in team fights where you can take long range shots on groups of enemies before going in for kills (RL is pretty bad at range tbh) I also think SB is the better option vs the current meta (mewtwo) as it allows you to stay back and still contribute damage, whereas RL pretty much requires you to dive in point blank. One thing that your video changed the game for me with SB is your mention of the 3s CD when you use a chloro-insta-SB. I did NOT know that! That definitely made chaining my SB together way easier so thank you thank you for the tip!

Why not play Leafeon? -Great Secure -Pure Adrenaline in Rayquaza -Fast as frick boi -Funni cute grass cat -Big damage = Big bonk -Needs actual skill to play -Satisfying pay off when done right -BEYBLADE LET IT RIP- -In the underrated Speedster class -Appreciated as a normal Pokemon What's not to love?

Thank you for this vid. I like Leafeon but my damage was in the gutter. So I wasn't much help to the team. Now that I know how to play Leafeon, my damage numbers never go below 80K. for those who may ask, I don't run emblems and my items are attack weight, scope lens, and razor claw (changed to energy amp after watching this vid).

I really love these types of videos, I'd love to see them with the other pokemon as well

They really should’ve given people more time to figure this out before buffing solar blade. It was always strong - just not enough people aware of how to handle the passive CDR.

I tried this build out and holy moly, I wasn't expecting that much burst damage, especially since the held items aren't totally dedicated for attack

Solar Blade is amazing now but i still get better results on Razor Leaf ngl. Also Aerial Ace should grant some passive charge to make it compete with Leaf Blade, rn its useless for Solar build

I like Aerial Ace a lot more than Leaf Blade after the nerfs. Run Razor Amp and switch around the last slot with Weakness Weight or Floatstone. U do absolutely crazy damage with Solar Blade into Boosted. Solar Blade gets a lot of charge if u spam Ace and it isn't like Leaf Blade with a giant cooldown and the chance to do nothing.

I was actually worried that the Solar Blade buffs would make Leafeon OP but I guess he isn't tbh. Turns out, he is actually strong which is annoying but at least, its not that hard to take him down. I was proved wrong tbh since most people don't know how to play with Solar Blade.

Thank you Chris! I picked up Leafeon because of your solar blade videos from a couple of weeks ago. I got frustrated because I didn't know why my move would charge sometimes and sometimes it didn't, so I moved to the other move. I will definitely play solar blade again now that I know how the mechanics work.
