Rarely do you dig up a relic that has all kinds of colors.
We were metal detecting and relic hunting out at this old abandoned NH farm that went back to the colonial days. the last people to live here left around the great depression so it has been a long stretch. We did some exploring around the now overgrown fields and dug up every signal we swung over. A nice Conestoga bell can out of the ground but there there was a surprise find. With the Teknetyics T2 Waynos dug up a button we are assuming came from the 1800s but it was covered with all kinds of fancy colors. You don't ever see anything like that come out of the ground.

Nate's thing that he dug sure looks like the end of a barrel tap key. I've dug them that look pretty much like that on the end. The "t" handle is broken off of his.

Looks like Nat found a bottom of an antique needle for a syringe. I have seen a lot of those as a child with the needle still attached for diabetics. A diabetic would sharpen the needle and keep it clean till they couldn't use it any longer.

Nate, think your first find is the base of a hypodermic syringe needle (missing the needle thank goodness) might be wrong. This part would push onto the barrel of the syringe. Bell was beautiful Charlie by the way, an the button Waynos wow! never seen like it. All in all boys a good day, well done.

I watch most of these videos Charlie puts out, but my sense is they are self indulgent for him and he could care less about his subscribers. I watch to see if I can learn something because Charlie’s skill set is very good. I do miss the fun parts like the spoon drops etc. that he used to have.
