Yeah funny you should say that because that was my thought. This one and Goldeneye has some kind of profound Bond decadence that feels like it has everything that Bond is about. I don't understand how they recruit for the opening theme. They have all the money in the world but I think it is fitting that the best themes are by a man on the slide (Chris) and a woman at the ropes if her career and almost forgotten (Tina). They captured the Bond soul better than Madonna, Adela and all those people. Sometimes quality is more about good judgement than simply open the wallet and get the most expensive act.

Love License to Kill one of the best Bond films ever. Dalton was greatly underrated, IMO. He played a Bond who WOULD kill you if you messed with his friends. Very true to the original Bond that Fleming wrote about, IMO.
