Bro that is shared trauma on all of us. I seen that video a few years ago n it randomly pops in my head🥺 if she felt ok doing that on camera WTF is that poor boy’s life like off camera? N then this past year a mom from a family vlog is prosecuted for child abuse!!! I tried to watch a deep dive on that but I didn’t get far in. That stuff isn’t easy to hear about in general.. but this was surreal. Usually a scandal like this COMES to light, but this was seemingly always on display! I never watched them but in that documentary even just the probably 1/3 I saw it was full of clips of this woman displaying abusive behavior. Like it made me so sick that these clips aren’t “uncovered” it’s AN EXPOSE of the vlog that was publicly posted to KZfaq, monetized, and she was just openly so evil. 😢

The dad NOT telling the kid about his forgotten project (13:56) just to teach him to "remember it next time" makes my blood boil. I have to admit, I have pretty bad ADHD (along with depression and social anxiety). My parents - when I was younger - made it a habit to check off a list of things I needed when leaving the house. Like "Meds?", "Keys?", "Phone?", "Charger?" and so on. I'm 29, turning 30 in a few months, and I still use that list. It has saved me multiple times. Every time I leave my house I go thru that list, and it's only because my parents made that habit for me. There are times when "teaching your kid a lesson about life" works, and then there are times you just fuck up. This was a fuck up.

That guy talking about how much people overspend on weddings had me in the first half. People do 100% spend wayyy too much on weddings, but you probably spent more giving people 500 dollars for nothing than you would on a small wedding. My husband and I had a courthouse wedding and Chick-fil-A catering at my parents' house after with a cookie cake. Best decision ever.
