I couldn't figure out why this random encounter kept happening even after I had seen it, so one time I decided to free the horse, brush it and feed it. I already had a stable full of horses, so I sold it, but it breaks my heart every time I see it.

Love this horse. Toughest horse in the game, riding it around with arrows sticking out of it. So metal!

First time I left him at beachers hope and he stayed in the stable with the other horses the whole time, he wasn’t active, just hung out there. I kept him as a riding horse on my second play through. His name was Arrow.

Misleading thumbnail, this horse is definitely not immortal. I thought it was awesome it survived the arrows so I saddled it. Coincidentally it was killed later on during an attack by skinner brothers 😂

I rode the horse for ages, keeping the arrows by not putting my saddle on.

I also found this encounter several times. To be frank, and think it is even the most common of the Skinner's random events, cuz almost everytime I get near Tall Trees I see it...

I got this horse on my first play. I loved it so much, I felt bad for a pixel horse. Something happened and the arrows disappeared. So I stabled it and rode a new one.

I actually had this horse prior as Arthur, one of the random encounter horse race with the old guy who eventually gets tired of the horse if you beat him a few times, this was the same horse

I actually got him without knowing he was rare,i just felt so bad for him i had to take him in,i named him ghoul and he is my main horse now :)

They aren’t immortal but I keep them as my main horses, one died, one I’m ride right now and one is in stable

Ive seen these Skinner'd wagons come down out of Tall Trees and past the front entrance to Beecher's lotsve times. I felt bad for the horces so I often rid them over to Clay and Clyde at Clemens Cove bcus Clay obvs really likes horces he always has some good comment about the ones you sell him so I feel like theyll get looked after there

There are lots of cool looking horses...but most of them are much to small. Arthur and John are tall guys and in my opinion they need huge horses. For me, the best ones are Brindle and Blackspotted (Ultimate Edition) Thoroughbred. And of course...Ratchel.

After so many years I'm doing another playthrough! I never knew about this! Now I'm s little more excited to get to the epilogue lol. Been roaming chapter 2 for weeks. John has been waiting for me in Valentine for a while now 😂😂

I have that horse hitched (not stabled) at Beechers Hope. The SOB occasionally kicks me when I walk by 😂

I've had this horse in every play through so far. In my most recent, the wagon spawned in on my, killing my horse (Rachel), never been so sad to see this mare! 😂

"Immortal horse"

This wagon was crashed into the gate of Blackwater graveyard first time I went there in the epilogue...I stabled the horse then got the random encounter coming out of Tall Trees so ended up with 2 of them 😅

This can't be the only encounter, I got mine after a race with an abusive rider who tried to kill her after I beat him to the destination. I was luckily able to put a bullet in his head before he could harm her. My sister named her Wisteria and she's a white roan Nakota as well. Not trying to be rude, but I just had to mention 😅

I saw that in my original playthrough of the game. Now, just still early in my 2nd playthrough (but I've done a heck of a lot already), I killed a man over a treasure map and took his horse, and it is the only one like it that I've seen. It is a Blue Nakota, and it's actually blue. She's a cool one.

Definitely not once in a play through, happens all the time, and before you say “you have to interact with the horse” I do every time, usually bond it up nd sell to the horse fence, or sometimes just sell to a stables, always get him somewhere tho cus I’d feel bad just leaving him😂

Definitely remember to loot these sorry saps because lord knows no one has collected salted beef and a gold jointed bracelet or ring by the epilogue.

lol you can also get it from leymone riders, i killed a couple from a wagon and 2 guarding it and just followed the horse

I found this horse in the wild north west of lake Ouilanjila. It can be found in the wild.

Wait so is this about this horse being rare with the arrows or just the white roan nampula in general bc the white roan nakota is not rare at all you can find it many places within the game. It spawns and the wild and some race encounters too. I switch between this horse and the blue nakota so often.

Lol. About 10 minutes after bonding with this horse. I rode to owanjila lake. Slipped on a ledge at the waters edge and lost it. So unlucky.

I used this horse during my 1st gameplay, I named it Grit, although it has low attributes than the Arabian and others but it's one hell of a steed.

I mean generally the White Roan Nokota isn't hugely rare? At least from what I understand - I mean I've caught two (separate playthroughs, different places) so this isn't the only point you can get a White Roan, but if you mean this is the only point you can get a horse full of arrows yeah I guess you're right?

I was skinning a cougar when this wagon ran me over and I realized what had happened. Cut the horse free and made her mine. Earlier in the game Arthur had a blue roan Nakota stolen from the murfrees and since this horse was found in a similar situation I felt like John had to have her.

Bro you can remove arrows by using horse health tonic and then feed horse

If you keep the horse as a second horse, save and reload the game the arrows disapear and will not longer stuck in it. And this is not a one time encouter

I found this horse in the game and I felt bad so I brought it to the stable because I though it would die from its wounds. After seeing this video I didn’t realize the value of the horse.

Ugh! I encountered this horse and used it as my temporary horse when I went to clear off Beecher's Hope. It then despawned during the cutscene where John takes his original horse back to where you started. Of course that was my only chance at having it. Rockstar is silly sometimes.

There are tons of white roan nokotas in the game. Only one with arrows maybe. I’d leave the arrows. Also get a mangy horse from the Murphy brood , I named him dirtbag. 😂

Last night I was playing and I found 2 of them more north with a blue nakota 3 beautiful horses but not true you can find more on top by a trapper and I died bc there was a panther so I lost the horse but I’m trying again rn

I felt so bad for this horse that I decided I had to get her to the stable before she died of her wounds. I didn’t know she was immortal. 😂 I kept her. I named her Felicity, because she’s lucky.

This is not one time event nor is this rare horse. I am now in my 11th play-through in chapter 2 and have encountered this horse 3 times in last 5-6 days. Two times it was bounty hunters and the third time just some random loudmouth NPC. Horse is pure medium and could be fun riding but I keep coming back to my hungarian halfbred piebald tobiano I named Duke.

I've gotten this more than once while playing so it isn't very rare, and the horse isn't even that good compared to other horses that are hard to not own while playing.
