In Germany, drivers have to form a line on the side of the highway when they’re stuck in traffic. But why 🤔? What’s it like where you live?

Don't overestimate germans. Most of them are grumpy, unthankful and stupid wannabes. Go to danemark or iceland if you wanna meet good people.

The penalty for not pulling over is severe in Germany, you can lose your license. In my US state, Maryland, it's a $110 fine, and 1 point on your record. Thats not quite enough to stop morons, but you rarely see people not moving over.

Also I don’t know about your state but in the UK, and I’d imagine the US too, you only have to form the lane once you see the lights or hear the sirens... whereas in Germany it is the law even if it is really slow moving traffic.

It's different on each state in GA I believe it is a 500 fine and adds 3 points to your driving record.

@@misfittoy171 i guessed that it’s different in each state but does the law say something along the lines of… you must move to the side of the road for an emergency vehicle? Or does it say… you must move to the side of the road if traffic is moving at 5mph or less?

@tobeytransport2802 speed limit doesn't matter if you're in the path of an emergency vehicle you immediately pull over when it's safe to do so of course most people do it but there are always some fool who doesn't usually that just tells us they ain't from around here.

@@misfittoy171 no but I mean in Germany you move over even if there is no emergency vehicle if it is slow moving traffic… if a police car caught you in the middle of the road when it’s slow moving, even when there is no emergency vehicle you can get a fine.
