Oh, man, the "Don't worry about me, just go" trope with Pico is heartbreaking. Seeing an animation of it where it's directly Pico, fighting against the static, who forces Boyfriend to leave is even more emotional.

I love when Steven looses his arm basically having enough will power to help bf since half human half gem! Spinel fuses with him creating well that thing I've seen before. giving him that monster arm I also love how pico uses the last bit of his strength to get bf out of there

Honestly dig that detail where after Steven and Spinel "fuse" Steven's left arm is starting to shift into his corrupted gem monster state. If we thought dealing with a corrupted Spinel and Steven was bad enough, imagine dealing with a glitch corrupted kaiju steven...anyways superb job on the animation! This was super clean!

The way Pico pushed BF into the portal for his protection is making me cry

I love how Steven and spinel are still fighting back the darkness like when spinel was the beginning and Steven where he blocks the attack that was gonna hit boyfriend

I love this animation cause it also explains how bf lost his hat, the fact that pico pushes boyfriend into the portal and how spinel and Steven are fighting the corruption IS SO GOODDDDD!!!

This animation is really good. I enjoyed the action a lot. I love that they are trying to fight back against the corruption even after getting corrupted, a really nice detail that really adds a lot to this animation. I will be looking forward to future animations from this channel

I just love how they're trying to fight back and then how Spinel and Steven fused is just very saddening and amazing at the same time cus the fusing was very aggressive and harsh but the way you drew it is just so awesome!! Headcanon: Protagonists (main characters) have the ability to cancel out another Protags Plot Armour, which is how Pico got Darkened, however, Due to the darkness taking away a characters brain, the character can BARELY use/control it, slowing the corruption, which is why Pico can assume control for a short amount of time before he goes insane.
