I’m gonna be real, that little intro lesson was something that I needed to hear right now, and I really wasn’t expecting it! Right now I’m working on getting a bachelors degree in Mechatronics and Robotics and last semester I failed all but one of my classes. I had a talk with a few people, and we came to the conclusion that I should take much less classes every semester, just one or two so that I can really focus on learning the material. Today I was going to look at and reconfigure my schedule that I had planned before I knew my grades. So here, already two years into college, it may take me another four to get that degree. It’s going to be very hard, and it’s going to take me a long time, but I will do it. I can do anything, you can do anything!

Yeah for me, my first couple of semesters in college i was not doing well, i did pass my classes but at the minimum requirements and i failed the easiest math class. It took 5 years to finish something that could've taken 2 years but i did it at a pace i knew i could DEFINITELY do well. You're not alone and i wish you the very most best in your journey!

I was just about the same way back when I went to uni to study mechanical engineering. Slow your pace down if needed. Adjust. Who cares if you need another 4 years? You'll get there eventually. And if not, it's not gonna be the end of your life. I finished after 10 semesters (5 years), worked 30 years as an engineer, 15 of them as lead of development. Just take the time you need. Looking back I would consider the time at uni as the best of my life. Retired now though... :)

The build really looks great at night. It fits into that cyberpunk feel. Down at ground level everything is bright and eye catching, ultra-illuminated by neon and fluorescent lights. But it's when you look up that you notice the low-hanging smog of the city, the light pollution turning everything the same hazy shade of dark. It's inviting yet smothering at the same time, I love it.

I gotta say, this building might be my favorite build of the season?? That gradient creates such a cool effect, with just the right amount of silhouetted detail! Boomers shop had an exploded second floor this one is full soot upstairs. Your builds are so detailed and tells its own story. Impeccable shading! The shop's very eye-catching the dark top is so unusual like a silhouette ppl would notice it right away. Scar has to be taught a lesson... replace a few blocks of his builds here and there with pink glazed terracotta and some of his floor with bamboo mosaic 😂

The way that shop is pretty much half covered in darkness reminds me alot of concept art, specifically the kind you'd see for large cities where lighting is prioritized to get across the overall feeling. It's honestly kinda trippy (while also being cool as heck), cause it genuinely does feel like it was picked out of a artbook or something

Scar is asking for it! You could extend the horse-curse with some perfect redstone. Set up some custom music discs of the horse galloping sound around his base that play randomly. Or just play it in voice chat and deny hearing anything. Should make him feel horse-haunted.

18:04 I love how Bdubs is looking for a smithing table and he walks right past it. I'll also say that the top of the shop is a bit too dark too make out any detail. I think that's a bit of a shame! But I'll also say that I think if you add a lighter block as windows up top, it might make the details pop a bit without having to over do it. It'll make it look like lights are coming through from upstairs or that you can look through the building and see the sun from the other side. A lot of backgrounds do that sort of thing with really dark buildings to keep them recognizable as buildings.

It's like Bdubs took it as a personal challenge to build with blocks that people hate. Diorite and netherbrick have never looked so good as they do this season

I've never seen a build like this, it's amazing. I now want to see a whole city like this!

This feels like a whole new building style. I love it so much! And I will definitely use this in the future! Thank you for this artistic inspiration - not just in this build, but in all builds that you make.

I love the new building, when I saw the thumbnail I thougth that it was just blacked out to not spoil anything, then I liked how it looks like it's in shadow, then I understood that it has exploded.
