Using magenta as the shadow here definitely worked great! I was very excited to paint a Salamander again, perhaps someday I'll finally make an army of them - who knows! Let me know what you think about the result 😀

Never thought of blue for the purity seal, but it works well, I'm gonna use that, and that lilac base fantastic

I like it, i do mine by doing a zenithal highlight with an airbrush and then i use thinned down warpstone glow for the base green and highlight with moot green.

Man I'm not gonna lie I thought this will turn poorly or really well and yeah, man there's a lot of good yet simple idea's I never thought of Good job turned it out incredibly well. Some really good idea's to elevate the look of the marine.

I love it. Makes me think the Salamanders couldn’t use standard wax seals because of the temperatures in Nocturne (and their flamers). They had to find a different material for their Oaths of Moment.

Looks damn good bud :-) Bright green can be hard to do and not make look cartoonish so well come. Also I am a bug AK fanboy ha have been for several years now.

@@patinapot their third gen paints really put them on peoples radars and of course their stuff like rust and grime effects, all that stuff was around in hooby gaming for a long time but more model hobby. Their products are well priced, give you a good amount on top of that also most have great pigment quailty to them. Im not a big fan of their metals though at least their third gen versions but everything else I love. Up there with the likes of vallejo in my books at elast :-)
