Part of the Sibling AU (Lucia, Luz, and AJ are siblings, Mal and Amity are sisters, etc. etc.) Post-canon/Timeskip Luz is taller than Lucia. She hates it so much.
- Mal does not last long in cosmetology school btw
- I just really missed Lucia-Rosa
- Luz is too terrified to ask where the knives are. (the knives are hidden in her boots and magic hammerspace)

if you read to the bottom, I’m gonna start hiding snippets of The Lore here lmao, so here goes: Mal and Gatherer (Beta Golden Guard who is basically an OC now) go to witchy cosmetology school together. Gatherer is much better at it than Mal, but it really helps them bond! Gatherer is the one who shaved Mal’s name into Lucia’s undercut as seen at Terra’s funeral. (For the record Lucia requested that. Mal thinks it’s gauche.) Mal doesn’t stick with hairdressing going forward but she has a fun time playing with Lucia’s hair and her knowledge helps her whenever Lucia’s or her own hair needs touching up
